ehBeth--

If you get rid of your droopy drawers, I'll never be able to keep up on a walk. All the same, congratulations.

dragon--

Wonderful. Bernard looks like a stern taskmaster--at least for sunny days.

J_B--

Enjoy the weekend--as long as little Lent follows little Mardi Gras.

Joe--

Glad your back. Your sinning is wonderous rueful and your successes are cheering.

Post weekend check-in.
Back down to 171 despite Dad's Day munching.

I'm determined to push for "a six in the middle" by Thursday.

ugh, weekend was tough. after my grandmother's ministroke about two weeks ago, my grandfather on the other side had emergent triple bypass on friday morning. then developed a fever, and was finally released sunday morning with a fever. ugh, i am back to 172, that butterfinger ice cream doesn't help the quest to lose weight, however the fear that now i know heart disease is in the fam does. luckily all is good, my grandfather is recovering well, and as long as we can get fever down, he will be good to go.

I have been in Australia for over and now I get an email from family?
Whatever.
My daughter is getting married this weekend and I cannot be there...
I don't really give a damn what the scales say at the mo....

George--

You earned your Happy Post Father's Day.

Dragon--

Sometimes life is just one damn thing after another--which leads to one damn calorie after another. Hold your dominion.

Ay S--

There is no weight-loss discount for "Hectic" but there is for the Mother of the Bride. Enjoy the wedding and repent at leisure.

ok so this morning, i finally made it back out there and we found a new route that i mapped out yesterday to be exactly 2 miles. ugh it was rough, having not run since thursday, and having gorged myself in stress last weekend. however unbelievably, the scale was good to me this morning...170!

Ay...i am thinking good thoughts for you...trying to send you the positive vibes! we are here for you.

BTW, what happened to Jpin? where art thou???

{{{Ay S}}} Sending tender thoughts.

Good job getting back on track, Dragon and George. You'll both be looking at '6s in the middle' in no time. I, on the other hand, will be cheering madly for you from the 'stuck in the 7s' pack because it seems no matter whether I eat, don't eat, exercise, don't exercise, sleep well, don't sleep at all, I'm STUCK and it's becoming incredibly frustrating. At least I stopped gaining weight in January... trying to look at the bright side Evil or Very Mad

J_B--

Plateaus can last as long as eight weeks.

Some people have fickle fat cells, but your fat cells have bonded and are true-blue and loyal. Eventually you will manage to alienate them, but probably not this week.

Excelsior!
