Dak--
I'll probably postpone the vodka for my recovery. Clear alcohol on an empty stomach.....
Margo--
No jelly babies--just jello. Lunch on Wednesday will be delicious.

Welcome to clear liquids. Believe me, I'd far rather starve than purge. Last time I was up and down, up and down all of the evening and most of the night. A clear liquid diet includes dignity.
Thanks, George. Spare a thought for Mr. Noddy. Starvation is a great revealer of character.
I'm back in the saddle again today. I just completed a 4 mile walk and shoulder/abs exercises. I'm sticking to 1200 cals until I get back to 170. If I'm still above 175 on Monday, I'll join Noddy on a clear liquid diet for sure!

Wishing fortitude and perseverance to you both!
I did 4 miles at lunch.
First real exercise in days!
There's just too much going on in Spring.

Have reacquainted myself with the gym after my 3 week fight with the flu!
It feels so good to be back in the gym! I regularly run/walk 5km on the treadmill these days, ride 15 km on the stationery bike and have just started going on the rowing machine.
The scales have not moved much but I feel good
Well done with all the excercise evryone.
I went to the gym last night.I have to admit even watching tv whilst working out is dull now, couldnt wait for the programme which I normally love to be over.
I dont like the treadmill anymore, I seem to be on the bikes all the time.I find they make me sweat more(which Im assuming is good)
Sadly my weight has gone back up but the scales at the gym say that there are only 12lbs in a stone. Its 14lbs isnt it?!!
So MG, too bad we don't live closer together, we could work out together. Sometimes working out gets boring but if you have a work out partner it is easier to mix stuff up a bit. I wish my husband would work out with me coz then when gym stuff gets too run of the mill we could play tennis!
I did ask him if he could teach me how to swim so that will be cool! I am looking forward to that!
I hate almost all stationary equipment: bikes, treadmills or steppers.
I don't mind the rower as much. Don't know why.
But it's spring and the weather is great for jogging outside!
Mr. Scale said 174 this morning.
Other than a good workout on Tuesday, my primary mode of exercise this week has been in the form of hauling, digging, bending, and hoeing. The garden looks much better. I wish I could say the same for myself. I'll just have to take the rosy glow that comes from working outside and be happy with it for now. It's amazing how hungry one gets from working outside....
I haven't weighed myself all week. Tomorrow's the day for a reality check.
Congrats to all who have been diligent.
I was hoping to see an update from Noddy on round two of her camera scan. Has she posted about it elsewhere?
I rely on the statinary equipment because of my back injury. I do not know how many times I have headed out for a run only to have to ring my husband in desperation to have him come and pick me up

Now I just stick close to home becasue I don't have a mobile phone anymore. I do seem better able to tolerate bicycle riding these days so I may venture out on the bike trails...or ride with my husband in the morning coz he rides to work

And it is Autumn here and the cooler weather is a welcome relief!
I swallowed my camera yesterday and have almost recovered from the prep to shift my system out of High Sluggish.
I didn't log onto A2K until late, late afternoon. Yesterday a very hefty hornet (you could probably fit her and her best friend in a tablespoon, but there wouldn't be room for anyone else) flew into a cluster of venerable cobwebs on an inaccessible window and was nearly trapped forever and ever.
Today I bullied Mr. Noddy into shifting the furniture (desk, computer table, typing table, four bookcases, a small cabinet, a tall stool, a short stool, an end table and a telephone table, two chairs and two lamps from a 12x8 room.
Then I cleaned up a storm.
The rest of the house is dingy by comparison.....
Conference tomorrow with the Eye Man about my Optic Nerve and pick up the dog at the Vet's after she has her abscessed tooth pulled and the tarter removed and Medical Week will be O-V-E-R.
The camera prep was a damn nuisance, but I lost 6 pounds in 6 days and three pounds seems to be staying elsewhere. Thirty days until my 45th college reunion--I intend to be magnificent.
Noddy the Magnificent!
Go for it.
Saw a friend yesterday, she has been dieting for a while and she has lost over a stone and looks fab!!!Oooh, Im so jealous, but proud of her.
Except for the dog--who should be home very shortly--medical week is over.
My leg is not healed, but healing my bones usually takes 18 months and this is only Month #13. I don't know about the camera colonoscopy, but whatever happens I have shed 2-3 pounds. My optic nerve isn't in tip-top shape, but "we" are going to try two kinds of eyedrops instead of just one.
On to springtime and abstemeous celebration!
You have a great spirit Noddy

Your turn MG?

A lil slack on the exercise front yesterday; I only rode to and from volunteering at the Children's hospital which only amounts to about 11 km.
Material Girl--
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Ay S--
A little exercise for the bod and a lot of exercising of compassion. Compassion doesn't burn calories, but compassion is admirable, all the same.
Iffy is home from the vet with fewer teeth, shorter nails and a doggie toothpaste. TGIF after a very long week.
Kick up your feet and relax Noddy
You did it, you got through the week!
