We sold them more then that, The list includes nulcear, chemical and biological materials and technology for anthrax, VX nerve gas, west nile fever germs and botulism. About the same time cheney while C.E.O. of halliburton did $23.8 of business contracts with iraq and Hussein. U.S companies weren't supposed to do business with hussein so cheney used european subsidiaries, Dresser Rand and Ingersoll-Dresser Pump. When Hussein didn't want to play ball with cheney and the Bush's they demonized the demon they help create for oil profits. But the demon turned on them. But don't believe me check the facts. I could be wrong

Here's the real story about Halliburton and Saddam, and all those contracts worth billions.

This is the last sentence from the last link above; "Note: In honor of Big Business Day 2003, Citizen Works will present Dick Cheney the "Daddy Warbucks" Award for eminence in corporate war profiteering on Friday, April 4."

We have "Big Buisness Day 2003". Today in China is "Peace Mission 2005". Large scale war games with 10,000 troops from Russia and China.

as i said earlier on the thread, both russia and china have huge economic interests in iran.

it doesn't take a genius to figure out that they want to protect their interests every bit as much the u.s..

It's downhill for Dubya until the end of his political career. He will go down in history as a what he is percepted to be -- an oaf and a coward. Typical of those with faith, but actually only a fantasy of what they actually believe in. Dubya only believes that Jesus saved him from alcohol and drugs. A one-step wonder that never worked and never will.

Yeah, but Bush said "being president is hard work." That's the reason why he allows himself more vacation time than any president in history - while we are at war.

What is most interesting about this thread is not all the repetitive blather posted but the fact that the "absolutely"'s far outweight the "absolutely not"'s.

The same pattern is typically seen in AOL polls, and yet Bush is president and the Republicans do control the Senate and House of Representatives.

What is there to learn from this?

Liberals spend more time on the internet than conservatives?

Likely, but why?

I wouldn't bank on that -- you could be sorely disappointed, FA d'A. I look forward to bringing out the crying towels for your convictions, although I know you are lilkely incapable of shedding nary a tear.

You wouldn't bank on what?

Oh yes, I, generally, piss you off, and therefore you need to respond to all my postings as you have.

You know, LW you've pegged me perfectly. I'm incapable of crying. It's my Nordic blood. Despite the Celtic influence, the grim stoicism of the Nordlands always seems to prevail.

Could there be a more idiotic response than yours?

I wouldn't bank on the continued "control" of the Congress and the Senate by the Republicans and that makes your response far more idiotic.

That is the consumation so devoutly to be desired which keeps FdA coming back--the delusion that he can piss people off. It's his only object here, really.
