It all varies from state to state, and there may be some restrictions in place.

For example, In New Jersey and New York, banks were never closed as they were deemed essential, but they only allowed drive-thrus and ATM transactions. To open an account, it may have to be done over the phone or online.

Thank you. That's what I thought.

Fortunately for me, I was able to get my Spectrum bill paid off using my new Direct Express card. I don't know why my mother didn't think to get it paid before she was sent into rehab.

Soon I will have my internet service reinstated on my laptop and then I can register to learn how to use various art programs through the Metrix Learning System from my local employment center online on my laptop.

I have the time and freedom to do this now.

I couldn't really focus on this dealing with family.

This is probably a silly sounding question but how has the Covid-19 crisis and pandemic impacted the world's economic system?

In a store at my local plaza that I often shop in there's a sign in front of one of the cash registers that says that customers should use exact change whenever possible because there's a shortage of coins in the U.S. Treasury, or something along these lines.

I'm paraphrasing what the sign said. If I had my smartphone with me I would have snapped a pic of that sign and posted exactly what it said verbatim.

I would have asked for permission to do that of course.

Is the pandemic and crisis inadvertently creating some kind of domino effect that I don't know about?

Are people still referring to the situation regarding Covid-19 as a "crisis"?

Let's see...

Covid-19 arrives
People become ill, many die. They die horrible,horrible deaths.
Various persons in leadership positions realize that in order to control the outbreak, quarantining is needed.
They then realize anchovies are not going to solve this.
Leaders advise all people to stay at home unless they are classificationed as "essential" . This would include persons in the healthcare industry.
Businesses shut down.
Millions end up out of work.
People have less money. More businesses shut down.

Yup...definitely an economic meltdown.

And please, if you decide to play a game of dominoes, be sure that you and whoever, wear face masks. Also, wear gloves.

Now, for even more information, I am giving you an assignment: go to www.google.com and in the search box/window enter the following: "Economic impact from Covid-19" . You might be reading articles about how this is going, clear on into Labor Day.

@Sturgis,
I'm going to ignore you permanently if you can't post serious answers to my questions.

Yes I'm going to Google or Bing "Covid-19's impact on the world's economy". I intend to.

I am going to relook up "Covid-19 and the domino effect".

@JGoldman10,
I broke down the information for you. It was clear that there has been a domino effect.

There's a worldwide Gay Pride celebration going on right now in light of the pandemic. When I found out about this I had a sickening feeling in the pit of my belly.

I'd recommend you consult a phalanx of health professionals.

@JGoldman10,
To be fair, there have been other mass gatherings that have led to a rise in COVID-19 cases in several states, such as the Trump campaign rally in Tulsa; the governor of Oklahoma just announced he tested positive after attending the rally.

Also, I can't find info of any Pride celebrations "going on right now" in the middle of July. Most pride parades had been cancelled due to COVID-19 and are usually held in June, which is Pride month. The last major celebrations happened on Jine 28th, which is the 51st anniversary of the Stonewall Riots that started the gay rights movement.

@Rebelofnj,
That's odd. I saw a recent advert about "Pride 2020" when I was playing mobile app games recently. Either the event happened already or was cancelled.

@JGoldman10,
Doesn't that also mean that the developers of those mobile games are supportive of LGBT rights, if they are willing to sell advertising for such causes?

I'm guessing it is an old ad.

The gloves and facemask were for your own personal protection against the Covid-19.

@Rebelofnj,
I don't see how that's relevant. The ad I saw was part of Yahoo! News. That doesn't necessarily mean the mobile app game developers support LGBTQIA rights.

Not a particularly good Christian. You insult people, attack people, watch low-brow porn (while pretending it's curiosity...although you keep watching it again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again...

@Rebelofnj,
According to this:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/parade.com/1028896/jessicasager/pride-2020/amp/

The events of Pride 2020, at least in the U.S., were postponed and cancelled.

Pride is its set of events within Pride Month. They take place every year from June 14 to June 28.
