Russia sees record one-day increase in coronavirus cases

Russia reported a record one-day increase in coronavirus cases on Sunday, Reuters reported.

The Russian coronavirus crisis response center reported 6,060 new cases over the previous 24 hours, according to Reuters.

The nationwide total number of confirmed coronavirus cases is now 42,853, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University. There have been 361 confirmed deaths from COVID-19, based on the same database.

Globally, there are more than 2 million cases and 165,636 deaths.

Governor Cuomo of NY said something along this lines. The current British prime minister said something contrary to this.

A lot of what President Trump has been doing is rooted in an element of pride. He should not be trying to encourage Americans to defy local and state governments by ignoring public curfews and such.

My pastor wants Christians praying for them.

Christians should be praying for their leaders anyway.

He also said the Covid-19- related lockdowns have caused a lot of problems. Domestic abuse is on the rise and not surprisingly, the porn industry is flourishing. The porn industry knows people are staying home, especially people's kids. This is bad. This gen's children and young people may not be searching for internet porn intentionally but they can still be subject to it in some form or another when they are online.

A pastor on Christian TV said a long time ago that about 70% of what's online is porn.

We CHRISTIANS need to be praying more.

You should really fact check if the pastor is correct before spreading misinformation.

According to Alexa, a company that tracks internet traffic, the top ten visited websites in the United States are not pornography. They are either shopping sites, social media, or news/online resource.

Out of the top 50 sites, only three of them are pornography sites.

Based on these stats, more people are watching shows on Netflix and Hulu than they are watching porn.

Instead of just praying, Christians and churches should do some charitable work in these trying times.

For example, my mom's church is giving away boxes of food to those in need.

So why does your pastor think G*d would want to humble infants and children?

I think your pastor isn't very humble declaring what is on G*d's mind. Maybe he needs to look at himself and come to Jesus for the audacity to presume G*d holding any such motive.

Two days later McDaniel reportedly called “bulls–t” on Ohio governor Mike DeWine’s stay-at-home order closing bars and restaurants.

“He doesn’t have that authority. If you are paranoid about getting sick just don’t go out. It shouldn’t keep those of us from living our lives,” he wrote, according to the reports.

“The madness has to stop.”

What exactly has your pastor prophesied that no one else forsaw?

From what you have written about him in other threads, he is making logical conclusions based on prior events. Conclusions many other people have made and reported on. It is not exactly divine wisdom.

Plus, I have noted his statistics on porn sites is skewed.

Since we are making note of the correlation between church related gatherings and the deaths caused by COVID-19.

My pastor contracted the virus when he was in Europe. He's fine now.

How are the people he infected? I take it he’s no longer in Europe.

Saw that and thought once more of the temptations of Christ: "Do not tempt the Lord thy G*d". G*d isn't here to prove himself. He's provided good sense, sound medical practices, smart science. He answered our prayers for succor through this pandemic.

I don't think he could, that would involve learning from his mistakes, and I've yet to see any evidence of that at all.
