I noticed most fast food restaurants I've seen in my county are drive-thru only because of the situation with the Covid-19 crisis. I can't say for certain if all fast food restaurants in my county are drive-thru only. I saw one person carrying a bag of Burger King food walking by me in tbe street presumably from the nearest Burger King restaurant in my hometown on the way to my local plaza to get some shopping done one day. That person might have been a restaurant employee. I didn't think to ask him if he was or not.

Do I have to have a car to order something from the drive-thrus of local fast food restaurants or can I just walk up to the speakers at the drive-thrus and order stuff?

I recall trying to do this once at a local McDonald's restaurant one time long before the Covid-19 crisis transpired. That was a different situation- there was no major pandemic going on at the time. I remember the restaurant employees thought I was crazy.

@JGoldman10,
No-one can just walk to these speakers. You can however arrange for a drone to collect the food on your behalf. Tape your credit card to the side of the drone and it can bungee-jump down to the card-machine. Probably advisable to go easy on the tomato ketchup.

He could just have been reusing the bag for something else, probably drugs. Did you ask him if he had any drugs at all? Have you been able to get any tasty drugs, how’s the situation with your viagra?

@JGoldman10,
I've been suspicious of you for a while. I don't think you are as helpless as you pretend. I'm not too sure you're helpless at all. I think you're having a laugh at those of us who have tried to help you. I think your whole persona is a hoax.

@bobsal u1553115,
I'm not a troll. What do you mean by "helpless"?

You have a very nice smart phone, right? You could call then and ask your question.

<On edit> Poop! You tricked me again.

They are crazy. It is a fundamental form of authoritarian mindset that reacts irrationally to category-defiance.

It's like when one bathroom is closed for repairs so both genders have to use the same single-occupancy bathroom, but the person whose gender doesn't match the one on the sign will feel like they're trespassing, and some other people may feel like the person is doing something wrong until they realize the other bathroom is closed and there's a sign saying to use the other one.

@livinglava,
Legally can I order stuff from fast food restaurant drive-thrus without a car, since the Covid-19 crisis is still going on?

@JGoldman10,
For multiple obvious safety reasons, drive thru lanes will not accept any orders from pedestrians.

Some restaurants offer take out, so you can enter the restaurant and pick up your order. However, dining areas are closed.

I was told recently that of the time of the posting of this that certain businesses and public facilities in my hometown will open up next week.

I'm going to ask the head of my local employment center to verify which ones.

I hope local libraries, my local employment center and the rehab center my mother is in will open back up to the public.

I need my local library to be open at least. I need to get some word processing done and I would like to get some job hunting done at the library, since my laptop doesn't have internet access on it. I don't know of too many companies that have job apps you can fill out online, and I can't print any job apps, or anything else out, using a smartphone.

I think Obama should be advising Trump on how to deal with the Covid-19 crisis if he isn't already. Things were not this bad when Obama was in office and the H1N1 pandemic transpired. Obama knew how to contain that problem.

I know Obama and Trump don't like each other but they need to put aside their differences and work together to put an end to the Covid-19 crisis.

Does anyone else agree?

@JGoldman10,
Trump has attacked every single one of his predecessors, all of them, no other president has done that.

@JGoldman10,
Trump should be asking for help, but he won't even acknowledge a problem publicly. He says its all under control.

That is because they attacked him before he was elected. No presidents have ever done that before. Payback is a bitch.

@JGoldman10,
Trump does not want any help from Obama, and has repeatedly criticized and attacked Obama for years. Even during the crisis, Trump has not stopped.

This is from this week:
"In a giant tweetstorm on Sunday, President Trump offered scattershot commentary on a range of topics. He accused former president Barack Obama of committing a crime (i.e., #ObamaGate), railed about the prosecution of his former national security adviser Michael Flynn and defended his handling of the coronavirus pandemic."
