Anthony Fauci is a leading medical expert. His job is to provide accurate information about the coronavirus crisis to the American public. This means that every day he has to contradict president Trump on national television while Trump is there. Today Fauci had to say that there was no real scientific evidence to support Trump's claim that that anti-malarial drug might work against the virus.

He is calmly, persistently, factually and professionally providing accurate information and guidance to the American people. And he is going far beyond what should be his responsibility to provide leadership; he is the only person with any connection to the Trump administration who is providing any real leadership.

Anthony Fauci is my hero.

I get the willies watching these guys standing so close and even shaking hands while theyre doing their announcements. I saw Fauci grimace once or twice.

Is that "treatment" the same one as someone ws talking about one of the hydro chloro-or hydro- bromo quinines thatthe British believed would help stave off malaria in the 1800's.? (Nowadays we use these to make Gins and Tonics)

When I was at sea I had to ,take quinine for a fortnight before flying out to Senegal. all the time I was there and for a fortnight after I left. It does work, (against malaria,) but it's not a cure.

I do not know and do not care. Trump's approval numbers in handling the virus works for me. Fauci is just a pro that cannot be trusted.
