The first and last date I have had was with the same guy. My first and last husband. The first date was 8/65 and the last date was 2/99. Nothing since then, ugh.

The missus and I have been married since '79, so I don't have anything current to contribute. But yes, I was on pins and needles asking gals out.

what's odd is when you have the teenage nerves in your 30s. Some things never change.

I got nervous during my first date last time i had the first date. I went out with a tall young welder (m mm mmm), and he must have been nervous himself. on the way to dinner he caused a car accident - sent a cab flying into a parked car, which, in turn was sent flying in the direction of people enjoying their dinners on a terrase of a restaurant. luckily stopped on a telephone pole. waited an hour for the police, then it took another hour to settle everything. when we got to dinner, i was about to faint of hunger and awkwardness. there was a line, so we waited at the bar for hour and a half!! then it all got better (drinking while starving), needless to say, i did not go home that night. quite memorable though.

LOL Dag! Sounds like an interesting evening. I dated this guy once who was nuts. He was working for a friend of mines father when he asked me out on a date. I must have been about 16 at the time and I think he was 19. Well, he picked me up, brought me top Boston, drove around the combat zone, saw some guy he knew and decided to say hi to him by smashing his car into his friends car. Then his friend decided to say hi back by smashing his car into our car. Needless to say, that was our first and last date. He sent me a dozen roses the next day asking me to please forgive him and give him another chance. Yeah right!!!!
