Why exactly all the snotty remarks from so many of the alleged liberal-lefties here? Could it be you have nothing constructive to offer? No way to counter the statements regarding the failures of the Dems (not just th Republicans) with substantiated facts?

Plenty of ways to counter the facts Sturgis. Once someone posts some, I'll be sure to respond (but you should know that it will go ignored and uncommented on, for example, you don't often engage in any real discussion...why is that?)

Should note: I don't watch the videos that get posted (however, if someone would like to put those videos into some sort of text, I'd love to discuss) and I don't discuss any conspiracy theories (those get ridiculed).

I try to avoid most political discourse. In part, due to not having deep knowledge of all the elements. There's that and then, similar to religion themed discussions it brings out the worst in many and creates an atmosphere which is uncomfortable; and, even more, vastly suffocating of whatever real conversation might be taking place...or attempting to. It's not my bag!

Well, cool. I suppose that's part of the reason why there's not a lot of discussion going on.

See, many of us have been having the same discussion/arguments for the last 3 years (or longer) and we pretty much know where each other stand.

If there were some new blood or election, maybe we'd get back to it.

I'm not blind to the fact that the Democratic Party is not perfect.

I'm just mightily suspicious of anyone pushing the idea that the Dems and Republicans are essentially the same, or that the Dem's lack of ideological purity means that they should be abandoned. I suspect that they're not really looking to improve the United States but rather to drive a wedge anywhere they can in order to bring us all down. I suspect that anyone who's still grinding that ax might not be entirely sincere.
