As long as Democrats and Republicans keep closed circles, we can expect continuous repeats of the same people making the same mistakes.

@edgarblythe,
Yeah, this "both sides are equally bad" line is getting kinda old.

@edgarblythe,
That's the kind of evasion I'd expect from a troll.

You getting paid in Bitcoin? Do you even know who's paying you?

@DrewDad,
Why don't you address some of my complaints instead of name calling and showing yourself for what you are accusing me of?

Why is it when I address your comments directly, you put me on ignore and repeatedly tell people that you don't read my stuff anymore.

Why would anyone waste their time with you?

You should have voted for the liberal who could’ve beaten trump, instead of Republican-lite.

Do better in 2020.

People don't have the integrity to get to the core issues anymore. Which goes back as far as the 1960s and has snowballed, until we have no choice but to reject the corporate view of America. Democrats were the caretakers of the New Deal. Instead of preserving and keeping it modernized they have allowed it mostly to slip away, with the rest chipped at daily. They speak well, most of the time, but they play the game that has let all Americans down. They are better than Republicans, a party I have spoken against non stop since Reagan was in office. But they empower the right wing agenda and so have abdicated the right to speak for the nation. Only by turning left can they reclaim the allegiance of liberals (progressives). The lesser of two evils argument can't play anymore.

Hahahahahaha....gotta laugh at this.

I'm reminded of a post that Max made the other day that came with quite a bit of agreement about people who INSIST on telling other people how much they ignore other posters and some not-so-nice thoughts about that behavior.

@maporsche,
Here's his post. It has 4 upvotes and some people replying with their agreement.

Anyone who announces publicly that they are putting someone on ignore is being a jerk. You can out someone on ignore silently without acting like you are somehow so superior you are denying them your presence.

I don't know if this behavior is trolling. Publicly announcing you are putting someone "on ignore" is certainly asisine.

That's just a pet peeve of mine. There is no need to be nasty.

it's no different than the false equivalency of there being no difference between the two major parties in the US

both of them are craptastic in different ways and complaining is pointless

without action there is no point

---

where was I for most of May? pushing the Green/NDP in my local riding in a provincial election - the conservatives won in the province but they came 3rd in our riding with the NDP at the front. We got enough votes for the Greens that they will now get research funding. Double win in our riding.

Gotta take action - phone/text/write/canvass or nothing will change.

@ehBeth,
Nobody said the Democrats are the same as the Republicans. But their weakness and compliance when they should fight plays into the right's hands, almost every time.
