watches porn" why is there a need for opening another
one? Couldn't there be a collective thread for all
porn droolers and their spouses?

Every thread that is newly opened with the same subject

Aye, Matey! But dlowan does have some very valid points about newbies coming to ask for advice and thinking they must be the only person in the world with this problem.....

Personally, if I even think I might have a thread of interest, I research the forums to find out if there has already been a thread posted about said topic and take it from there. Granted it takes a bit of time to go through all of the Marriage and Relationship topics (regarding this topic we speak of today), but to me it seems worth it. I don't want to waste everyone's time with the same old sh*t

Maybe I'm just a bit anal that way though and not in the panic mode of something destroying my life and relationship that all I can think of is "get my post out there now...I need help!"

All I'm saying is that I have just as much right as the porn whiners to express how silly I think it is to cry, pout, scream and fret over my husband's use of porn.

Now if someone comes here to ask if it's normal, I can respect that. But when someone comes here to whine (which is a whole lot of posters) about it but refuses to take action, I don't have much sympathy. A liar is a liar is a liar and if you accept his lies then don't complain that he's a liar.

Lady J, quite a few of them seem to get here by way of google searches on husbands and porn which lead to the threads which already exist - which they then reference in their opening posts.


dlowan, those women are net-savvy enough to know how to check histories and download spying software - and discuss whether they're checking sites or tracking keystrokes. an interesting subspecies, indeed.
