E-mail me.
My heart rate hasn't slowed down yet. I need to take a few dozen deep breaths. And then get some rest. I've been operating in crisis mode for the last week.
Smiling for Eva's success and for hearing Dys and Fred the parrot wolf-whistling at each other.
Getting to talk to my son in London this morning... and the delight in his voice when I said I'd put more money into his account so he could do some more traveling in his last three weeks there.
I feel like such a good mom!
(Also, Diane's new avatar made me smile!)
Lucky son !!! Is he leaving London in 3 weeks ???
Yup -- December 5th he comes home. (Another thing to smile about!)
Being in Denver with Dys and a Rocky Mountain High is making me smile today.
The mountains are beautiful. We can see Mt. Evans from our livingroom and kitchen windows. Clouds are in parallel lines under the peak with this incredible blue Colorado sky in the background.
I was typing here when my dog started to make some noice (hard noice to explain) behind me. I tried to have her get up onto my lap (on a desk chair - she's 65 pounds), but she didn't want to. I put my feet up on the bed and asked her again. It became a game to her. She jumped up onto the bed and actually walked down my legs and into my lap. Once there, she had to turn around, she may have done permanent damage to my belly skin.
A certain phone call from a certain person. . .
We're trying to figure out what he's going to bring me for Christmas :-)
ohoo! He'll be visiting again? Has he met the family? Wow, this has been going on for quite some time.
Yeah. . . three years and then some. . . and yeah, the families know us and eachother, oddly enough. . .
But this is only his second time to the US, and his first time to actually visit me in New York. . . he's a little giddy :-)
teehee, this is making me smile!
me too. . . :-) hehe. . .
Cleo is making me laugh.
For a treat, I put some no-name kibbles'n'bits in the dogs' food bowls. She's been taking pieces out and chasing them around the kitchen before she catches, and eats, them. I'ts been keeping her busy for about 20 minutes now. Those kibbles are sooooooooo sneaky!
I hope Bailey and Cleo never find out that other dogs think kibbles'n'bits is actually dog food. As long as i can keep them thinking it's a treat, we've got a good thing going.
This morning I got the most awesome pedicure & manicure also.. My feet are no sooo soft and sooo smooth....it's just great. She pedicured me all the up to the back of my calves. I would definitely say it was a small slice of heaven... When was your last pedicure/manicure ? for me, they're not that often, I just keep so busy I think...but I'm going to change tthat!!!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I've been wanting to do a manicure/pedicure for the longest time! I am going to do it, next weekend, for sure! It's got to be the best thing since peanut butter!
Thank you for reminding me!
