adventures of a sort today

boyfriend, his sister, mother and dog came by for their daily viewing of the progress of the poppies in my front yard. great fun. shouting. talking about flowers, brief patting of dog. really wonderful

lunch with my friend A was great yesterday but I was a bit wound up from not really talking to anyone in person other than Set since early March. I calmed down after about five minutes of babbling. I must have sounded a bit like the boyfriendboy. ImustsayeverythingatoncetomakesureIgetitout.

I'm so looking forward to being able to have small gatherings inside. I fear we are nowhere near that. I will be having neighbours in the yard digging up some plants - a good way to somewhat socialize. I will watch from the porch while they dig Very Happy

In my town (population of 182,000) we've had 265 confirmed cases thus far. One death in February and one in late April, both elderly.

Not certain either one actually lived here. Could have been brought here to hospital.
