Time to ask the question over here ...

What made me smile to day was when I saw Santa Claus and his EIGHT reindeer - Dasher; Dancer; Prancer; Vixen; Comet; Cupid and Rudolph on my a neighbor's roof.

@George,
You made me laugh.

I think I'm a good wrapperupper but may be blind to a fault in thinking so.
I started being artsy fartsy as I got less disposable income over the years, and will use any damned thing in the packaging. People could identify my packages from across the room, apparently happily.

On the other hand, I'd be overboard if I tried to row a canoe.

I love this - a puppy spots its owner and goes ballistic.

Who did you get your ideas from?

@Rickoshay75,
myself..

I took thirty quarters of different kinds of art classes after work back in my twenties and in my forties spent four years studying landscape architecture. I don't think I started out as particularly creative, but I caught on to it as a kind of play and a way of thinking.

Watching my very favorite Christmas movie--and one of my very favorite movies ever--"A Christmas Story"--it wouldn't seem like Christmas without it. No matter how many times I've seen it, it still makes me smile and laugh from beginning to end.

If you've never seen it...

This was one of the first movies to be colorized, and it was a particularly atrocious job, though I try to avoid all of them.

@hawkeye10,
I read some back and forth at the Guardian, probably the Comment is Free section, re black and white being antiquated or of interest; I forget what the article zoned in on in the first place.
Dummkopfs..

I should look at the movie again - I lived there as a child for one year, just one, but for me, a great year. I'd not be looking re the story this time, but the place.
