It was smileworthy when I saw a guy maybe in his 4Os
and a teenage girl carefully inspecting the grass
where I had thrown coins to children, dimes and up, 2 days before.
I hurled a handful of fresh dimes & quarters into the grass.

Having a morning shower in our new wet room - wow, what an improvement on a bath - wish we'd converted it many years earlier! Laughing

@George,
The dog and child photos Edgarblythe linked to.

It shows big dogs and toddlers or babies. Not a situation I've been around myself and I'd have to know the dog well before putting the two together - but the photos are terrific.

His link, shown on the Dog House thread:

@tsarstepan,
THAT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

I LIKE THAT MOMMY!!!!

When I was in Niagara Falls a couple of years back, we went through some kind of fun house that had a bunch of those spinning tunnels that alternated directions, and strobe lights and mirror were all around.

I didn't ever want to leave. I was inside a video game.

Not my cats, they look at me with contempt when I try anything like that.

@CalamityJane,
Max, short for Maxwell.
Named for renowned mathematical physicist James Clerk Maxwell.
This is what happens when scientists fall in love and get married.

@cicerone imposter,
I heard that expression for the 1st time just the other day CI. I heard it on that British show "Call the Midwife"

It has something to do with having a drink upon the birth of a baby.
