Coming online to see that Sturgis and Lustig Andrei are both recovering - that's cheered me greatly.

I saw the last episode of 24. It took Jack Bauer 25 minutes to drive from central London to Southampton (pronounced South Hampton) along a country road.

They actually filmed it in Southampton docks, so it's not like they didn't know.

@izzythepush,
and what in the name of .... would Jack be doing in Southampton?... unless he's buying one of the Southampton (Saints) players.

Everybody else is. Smile

Here to report that the Italy segment of the two scallywags has unknown availability on disc for me (don't even ask about streaming on myeldermac).

Years ago I was waiting for years in a netflix line, gave up about Hear My Song.
Er, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102014/
I liked Dunbar as well as Beatty.

Still I smile, my porchetta turned out to be delightful. I even made a first time for me olive oil/flour/liquid dregs/gravy. Not your usual porchetta treatment, but I hate throwing stuff out.

Lordy, I tried your other tv series suggestions, big nah. Just more reason for you to be exclaiming when you like bits and pieces so I can look them up.

Well Hello, Andrew, glad to have you back where you belong (A2K)

I, too, have something to smile about today. I just had my first maintenance chemo treatment after 8 months of monthly series of treatments. i have solid reason to believe that I'm heading towards possible remission from an uncommon form of NHL lymphoma (called Mantle Cell Lymphoma).

The worst part of my variety of symptoms wasn't from the cancer...but was from having an outbreak of shingles which is finally going away after 6 weeks of painful arm and shoulder pain and useless left arm dysfunctionality. Nasty bugger is Shingles.

FWIW, I still have a ways to go...but signs are looking good.

@Ragman,
Good to hear of your recovery, Rags. Keep a positive attitude and keep swingin'. That's what I'm trying to do. I've found that if you genuinely believe that things are going to get better, then they get better. Cheers!

@Lustig Andrei,
Thanks.

I agree 100%. I believe in the power of positive thinking. I think it helps you become a magnet or a beacon for good things to be attracted to you. I speak of this to my friends ... I have not and will not be 'cancer boy'.

@Ragman,
Glad to hear the signs are good.

I was gonna say something like "positive, shmositive" but decided against it. Oops, I just said something. Sorry. I'm incorrigible.

You be positive and be well.
