That pretty much disqualifies anyone for anything.

What made me smile today - reading tennis news. This is odd, I'm not a tennis fanatic - just got pulled into reading about Nadal and Borg.

Air conditioning. I left Wisconsin for 10 days, and suddenly it's the height of summer.

I woke up knowing I have a BIG gig tonight with a BIG paycheck and I'm looking forward to paying all my monthlies with just this week's earnings, and that I'm about to spend a week at the beach with two of my daughters. Breathing room. Smiling doesn't do it. I'm grinning.

I had my first ever B.M.I. today.
Even though I'm at least ten lbs. from my goal, the BMI calculation (done by a technician using the caliper method ) was 17.9.
That is MUCH lower than I would have guessed! :-)

That makes no sense to me. A technician using the calliper method would measure your percentage of body fat. (A calliper is useless for measuring your BMI. All you need for that is a scale.) A body fat percentage of 17.9 is healthy, though not ripped. A BMI of 17.9, by contrast, is significantly underweight. Is it possible that you have the two measures mixed up?

@Thomas,
I guess you are technically right:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_mass_index

although the rec center where I had it done advertised it as BMI measurement. In any case, it was a body fat percentage.

BTW I never claimed to be 'ripped' but I think 17.9 is pretty good for a 69 year old who, eighteen months ago, was out of shape and fifty-two pounds heavier.

That's what I meant when I used the word "healthy". I would kill to be where you are. Congratulations!

comedian rich vos was on opie and anthony yesterday, they were discussing comedians getting in trouble for making controversial observations or jokes, rich was saying, his wife, fellow comedian bonnie mcfarlane has a great take on the subject, she suggests you do some research before you go to a show, her quote, "you don't go to a concert, sit down and say, i hope its jazz"

Democrat Representative Anthony Weiner resigned.
A career poll in a street of his district
was taken for what he shoud do next.

Recommendations:

1. porn star

2. hot dog salesman (that 's not cannibalism for him, right?)
