Lovely photograph, George. A beautiful family you have there.
Congratulations, Nigel.
And what a proud dad! Very Happy

@JPB,
That pic makes me a lil verklempt, but in a good way.

Today's smile: looks like the mortgage will be paid off in less than 5 years. We will then own stately Philbis Manor outright.

@George,
George, you and your family made me smile, but your last remark reminded me of this.

Man, that's a great photo! Oops, I said that before. Oh, well, I'll say it again.

I was actually thinking the opposite. You can tell they have an Asian parent, but the shape of the face, noses and dimples are all distinctly Georgian.

Hooray for Nigel!

The whole family is looking great. Hermione doesn't look old enough to get married though! She must be at least mid-20's by now?

You should have seen us the day before. We were about to leave from
Stoneham when Hermione realized she'd forgotten her passport and had to
go all the way back to Cambridge to get it. Then, somewhere in Vermont,
the Lovely Bride turned to me and asked "How did Nigel pack his dress
pants and shirt?"
"I dunno."
"Nigel?"
"Errrrr"
"They're still hanging in the hallway at home aren't they?"
"Um. Yeah."
"Arrrgh!"
I leaned over and murmured, "I should have eaten my young while I had
the chance."

You bet!
The bitter fades quickly.
(But the teasing goes on forever.)

Today I was talking to one of my students, a very nice young man who I guess hasn't always made the best choices in life, and I noticed for the first time that he was wearing a small wooden cross on a leather strap around his neck. So I asked him, 'Mark, are you a Christian?'
And he answered, 'Yes Miss, I am.'
So I asked, 'How does one who worships the mighty weed (ganja) reconcile that with Christianity?'
He knows me well enough to know that I was only being my normal curious self and no judgment was implied so he didn't take offense and answered,
'I am a Christafarian- and make no doubt about it - we have many followers.'

Christafarian...I love it.
