@Thomas,
Are you back in NJ? If so, this weather should hit you in just a bit...

@dyslexia,
Almost. I'm in Portland with blatham and Lola, just about to visit Boomerang. But it's true I'm expected in Albuquerque tomorrow. Needless to say, all three points are eminently smile-inducing.

I'm in Noo Yawk. That weather is gonna hit me too. Too steekin' hot. But better than what we've got now. Rain, rain, rain. Also, it's raining and precipitating.

Hey, Thomas. I worry that the air is too thin in Albuquerque. Take some oxygen along with you. And say hi to d and D for me.

Dys's and Dianne's bird renders a stunningly accurate imitation of a fire detector. Needless to say, seeing the two of them made me smile, too.

@Roberta,
Thomas needs not be concerned about the thin air of Albquerque; they've plenty of tequila there.

@ossobuco,
Driving home, pass a sports car with the top down. Wind blowing through the hair of the 60 something driver, and his passenger...a beautiful white standard size poodle.

He/she sat up straight in the seat, taking all the rush hour traffic in.

When I glanced in the rear view mirror, poodle leaned over, and laid a big wet kiss on the drivers cheek.

At the BBQ joint near Dys's and Diane's, waiters are wearing T-shirts that make me smile: "I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain … to eat vegetables!"

Thomas did. Thirty-five years in Colorado and New Mexico and he picks up on a hint of Okie accent.

it's my understanding that Lady Diane and Thomas will be attending the Albaturkey Church of Beethoven tomorrow morning which will feature the complete works of Roger Miller performed by the Omaha Aquarium Choir. After morning services Thomas will depart for his home in the burbs of New York City.

@dyslexia,
Dys. I'd watch out for that Thomas if I were you. No woman can resist any man's charms after hearing the music of Roger Miller, that buck-toothed purveyor of kitch piano.
Oops! Sorry, I was thinking of Roger Williams.
