Message from my daughter Hermione who's working on a doctorate in
biochem. After many, many frustrating false starts, she has gotten her
molecule to behave as she wanted it. Another step closer to the goal.
Good for Hermione - that must be both a relief and exciting for her.

Just got confirmation this week that my right eye had returned to normal. As of December 12, it was blind before getting into laser surgery. Okay, more like bouncing off the walls than smiling, but it was a good day. My eye doctor was pretty happy too.
