Yeah, but she'll SCRUB those veggies now!!
Lesse, miscellaneous things...
Sozlet wanted to play outside, I just wanted to go in and take care of some things that needed to be done. She was insistent. I needed to be a seesaw, which involved laying down on the ground. I complied, she ended up laying down on top of me, baby-otter style, and we both laid there looking up at our big elm as it swayed in the wind, pointing out squirrels' nests and crows. After about 10 minutes of this, after my blood pressure had gone down several notches, I realized that I was pretty silly for thinking that something was more important than laying in the grass and looking at a swaying elm.
Playdate today. Sozlet and Jack are always worth many smiles. She showed him her bedroom today (first time), and they took turns being sick (climbing in bed, blankets up to chin) and ministering to the sickie (bringing "medicine", looking concerned, feeling forehead for fever.)
