But for some reason she obviously felt a sort of fondness (or something) for me at that moment & expressed it. So I took it in good grace & smiled back. Her friendship group smiled back at me. It was a nice moment. I wonder what that was all about?

No, I wasn't. Actually I was wearing proper shoes for the first time this summer that day (as opposed to sandals or bare feet) & got blisters! Ouch, ouch, ouch! Came close to reporting this sad state of affairs to the
Grit & Grimace thread! :wink:

I posted it somewhere else...but....I signed up to be an extra in Gogol Bordello music video (The American Wedding). I mulled over it for quite awhile, knowing that I'd go alone, I'd be nervous and shy....but decided I want it anyway and if I don't apply, I'll regret it. So I won...and now can't wait to hear back.
wait, when i say 'i won' - i meant i won the battle with myself... not the audition quite yet. waiting to hear back... but i felt good for just applying... i nearly chickened out.
