nimh's post. Now I'll be doing Bogie (badly) all day tomorrow.
We feed the blue jays peanuts off a balcony at the back of our house. Today Mr. Fix-it took the Christmas wreath off our front door and a peanut fell out.
My dog barking in my face to wake me up and then pretending she didn't do anything
I pulled a woman driver today, big time.
Was at a busy full-serv gas station, and the pump stopped. After a minute decided to pull forward to let the cars behind me move up, and while I'm doing it, car behind me was honking.
Then "POP." The handle was still in my car, I thought the guy took it out. It's designed for idiots like me, so nothing broke.
I ran into an old friend.

Did either of you get injured?
I ran into my ex-girlfriend.
Then I backed the car up and ran into her again.

Mr. Noddy accomplished half-a-dozen, just-a-minute chores that have been on a list for ages and ages and ages.
Seeing a headline about Britney Spears that said, "she was found under the influence....." as though that was news.
Talking to a friend about skiing faux pas. Like when I jammed up the ski lift chair....
Winning a small battle. My health insurance will pay.
making an awesome marinade out of some weird odds and ends in the fridge
scoring a great deal on candles in the after-Christmas sales

The lighting's going to be good tonight, and the chicken's going to be fab.
The seat warmers in my car
The checkout lady in the grocery store..
I'm ordering my CDs from the USA: they are a lot cheaper there in general, and due to the excellent exchange even more.
Now I found a small label ...
Quote: Your CDs have been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with
sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.
A team of 50 employees inspected your CDs and polished them to make
sure they were in the best possible condition before mailing.
Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over
the crowd as he put your CDs into the finest gold-lined box that money
can buy.
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party
marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of
Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in
our private CD Baby jet on this day, Sunday, January 6th.
I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did.
Your picture is on our wall as "Customer of the Year." We're all
exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Sigh...
Checkout woman was alive and connecting with all around her, as was her new-to-me helper with the bag stuff. No faux politeness/rote. Good.
