next-door big, brown teddy-bear dog came over and demanded that we scratch her belly; she gets so goofy that her teeth start to show, she rolls on her back ... and there we are - two people - scratching a dog's belly !
she will eventally accept some milkbones before she trots off happily . hbg

Annie is a lovely dog, very mellow and appreciative of mrs. hamburger's good cooking, belly rubs and spare treats.

Hey Setanta! That dog in your avatar always makes me smile! I'm assuming he's your dog. What kind of dog is he? He's beautiful.

Here's something else that's got me smiling. I work for a pharmaceuticals company.

Tomorrow, I get to spend the morning with one of our chemists. They're gonig to show me how they do one of their "tests." Ok, it might sound boring to you -- but I can't wait.

It's gonna be interesting -- to me!

what made me smile-

dressing my daughter like a child of the 80's

denim jacket open, no shirt
pink skirt with 3 layers of ruffles, white polka dots
big puffy socks that look like leg warmers.

Had a suprise birthday party yesterday for a coworker.....

It was my job to pick out her gifts and a card ~ I can't walk into a Hallmark store without spending twenty bucks.....

So everyone in the office got a card from me ~ and I hit the jackpot finding cards to match everyone's personality. I wrote a little thank-you to each of them for their special quirks and the rest of the afternoon was complete mush! We're a sappy bunch!

The birthday girl, by the way, was totally caught off guard ~ which was our mission! All is right in our little corner of the world! Cool

I am looking out my window; the window just to the left of my keyboard. The sky is cloudy at 7 pm, a dull, dull gray. And there above me and few hundred yards south is a hot air balloon that seems to be stuck; horizonatally challenged. They've tried to go higher and they have tried to go lower, but there is absolutely no breeze. The leaves on my oak trees outside another window are absolutely still. And so these folks are in a basket under this hot air balloon, having paid $100 or whatever for the ride while staying at this over-priced hotel that has seen better days, and I am thinking: what happens if you need to take a piss?
