**** man. If you "can't blame Trump" for all the stuff he didn't know...he'd be the most innocent human since Mary.

I noted yesterday or the day before that the Koch crowd are pouring money into suppressing Trump's chances of winning the GOP primary and getting someone else (DeSantis most prominently) as the candidate. News reports today have David McIntosh's Club For Growth doing the same. Undoubtedly Norquist's group Americans For Tax Reform will also be aligned as all are movement conservative stalwarts of the anti-government/libertarian stripe.

This will mean money in the billions put toward this endeavor.

@Lash,
Quote:
Weak-minded MAGADemocrats like Blatham were heavily propagandized for 7 years (immediately after Hillary Clinton’s crushing loss to Donald Trump) to accuse anyone questioning their political heroes as Russian or bots or secret Republicans. LOL. It actually happened. Blatham is probably the best representative of this phenomena on this site, although almost everyone on this site bought the fakery.

Here, he’s referring to me asking questions about the inconsistencies in a couple of police reports and strange media behavior around an incident at the Pelosi home in SF.

The trained behavior is apparent in his language

Asking questions? That’s a very innocuous revision of history, where:

1. You very clearly made statements accusing the Pelosi’s of a gay coverup:
They were either naked or in underwear—admitted by cops

+
Nancy’s team has tried to cobble together a story that makes it look like this was politically motivated to cover for the fact that her horndog husband got sloppy with who he brought home

2. You very clearly implied they were lying to (or coercing) the cops
Some cop or security guard is going to refuse to file a bogus report to cover for them

3. You clearly accused Pelosi of forcing police to lie
Pelosi is forcing law enforcement to lie.

4. You Plainly kept intimating they were lying
I’ll take a neighbor’s eyewitness account over someone who knows nothing— who says they know nothing— but who would be *afraid* to discredit the most powerful resident of California.
+
The official story makes even less sense. A malevolent Trump-fueled murder guy doesn’t allow bathroom breaks for calling 911. Paul Pelosi knew the guy’s name and said he was a friend to the dispatcher. Why did he call? To ward off a cop visit — because an alarm had been tripped? This makes NO sense.

….claiming the above statements were you merely 'asking questions' is a clear attempt to rewrite and downplay recorded history. Only (4) could be argued to be questions. The rest were clear statements / accusations.

And very clearly, you were utterly wrong in your accusations.

I had thought you were merely biased with skewed perspectives. But this behaviour / quote etcs, is a reflection on your level of personal honesty.

It's open season on education:

Bill would ban the teaching of scientific theories in Montana schools

Quote:
A bill in the state Legislature seeking to regulate science curriculum in public schools got its first hearing Monday. The legislation’s sponsor says by banning scientific theories, the policy aims to prevent kids from being taught things that aren’t true.

More than 20 people testified against Senate Bill 235, concerned that it could keep teachers from including gravitational theory, evolution and cell theory in curriculum.

Mia Taylor is a sophomore at Helena High School. She told the committee, "If we remove scientific theory from science curriculums, what can be taught will be limited. It is the school's job to educate its students."

The bill is sponsored by freshman Republican Senator Daniel Emrich from Great Falls. In his testimony, Emrich said the bill would make sure students are taught what a scientific fact is.

"If we operate on the assumption that a theory is fact, unfortunately, it leads us to asking questions that may be potentially based on false assumptions," Emrich said.

A legal note from legislative staff says the bill could overstep the Board of Public Education’s constitutional authority to oversee schools in the state.

The committee did not take immediate action on the bill.

Very well done, vikorr. If this individual was merely an ideologue, that would be one thing. But your quotations of what she'd written here at the time quite perfectly demonstrate who and what she is.

She's been dressing up far right propaganda and lies as socialism ever since she stopped being a very vocal supporter of Dubya and his illegal war in Iraq, and pretended to be a supporter of Mr Sanders.

The only lies here are your lies.

I have never been caught out on any lies, as I have never lied in the first place.

Yep. Republicans truly are at the level of zero dishonesty. Good for them.

It's progressives who lie all the time.

I don't spend a bit of energy worrying about what Lash's politics are or are not.

I take all her posts individually at face value and if I disagree with something I post my disagreement politely.

That's how I treat everyone else as well.

For the record, Lash is not the subject of this thread. The subject of the thread is "Rising fascism in the US".

I then settled my own final thoughts on the matter and said if I saw film of two portions of the incident, I’d move on. I did, and I did.

And?
