I dont know of any other race who does this. I dont call other Italians Dagos. I dont hear Jews call other Jews Heibs (sp?) I dont hear Polish people refer to each other as Pollocks.
Seems to me that if they didnt want it to be used they should have let it die.
Some times I wonder why black people are their own worst enemy. Then they blame all their troubles on the "white oppressor class".

It is not the word...it is the attitude being conveyed when it is used...which probably accounts for why the word causes laughter in blacks under some circumstances and immense anger in other circumstances.
