You probably gave the issue a lot of 'computing time', but real human thought involves the heart. Anyone who is ready to send her or his own daughter to the cops for something like what the OP describes is a monster in my book.

Why anyone would not want to protect their child from obtaining a criminal is beyond me. Maybe get them counseling...but not getting a RAPP sheet started. Life is hard enough without having to start it with the label of sexual predator.

Indeed. Plus I do think it's important to maintain a better distinction between different types of 'rape'. What that girl did is not comparable in any way to, say, what this (thoroughly excellent and an amazingly great read) book describes:

See what I mean about thumbs down....it's not about being right. What cluster f#}ck idiot would not understand the life implications this would have for that child? To be registered as a sex offender at that tender age? I'm glad I'm not a follower...some people are just plain ridiculous...

Oh you've blasted past that limit a long time ago, as far as the French as concerned. In my country, a guy reporting his daughter to the cops for what the OP describes would be spit upon in the street.

An your parents raised someone who have no problem with the torture death of man on the ground that a 13 years old pointed a finger at him when she needed to explain to her father how she had become pregnant.

No courts and not investigation needed just a piss off father acting on the word of his daughter.

I think you'll find most people think that the welfare of children is important, and nobody really cares about what happens to paedophiles as long as they're locked away.

Did anyone, (other than people like you obviously,) shed a tear for that particular dead paedophile? I think you'll find most people's sympathies are with the father.

No proof that the man had sex with the young lady or is a pedophile but for her word for it when she was face with an angry father and in a culture where honor killing of daughters is not unknown on top of that.
