here marycat, have a roasted leg of stoat......
Oh my goodness oh my goodness...
There was a little snow here last night. It's still sticking on the tops of buildings.
Yeah, it's snowing in Tokyo right now too, dammit. Me hates drizzly, lame snow.....if you can't snowboard in it what's the bloody point??? Sheesh...
Precipitation is as precipitation does - you can't be too precipitate about it...
We got snow, but not enough to make it any fun . . . did get to "cut a doughnut" while turning a corner on the way to work, though. (Cutting a doughnut means spinning in a complete circle--as a reckless youth, i and my friends would find an empty parking lot and do this for the fun of it. We usually had to drive to Maryland or Pennsylvania--snow doesn't seem to like the Virginia climate.)
Snow?
10-12 inches in the Boston area today and Saturday.
3rd snow storm of the season!
We spun donuts in the snow. Some of the crazy damn rednecks I grew up around would try to spin them in deep mud, which takes a certain amount of balls -- not to mention a winch, a tow-rope, and access to a sheet metal shop...
heeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee . . .
Why do ya think they call 'em good ol' boys ?
LMAO
When I lived in Fairbanks, doing a donut was the standard way for a taxi to turn around in the winter.
Donuts? Now we are doing donuts?
oh well.... then we are doing donuts
Hey! It is 3.25 am here -and I can't sleep - waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
3:25 is pretty durn early, and it's Saturday, I think, for you. Is it light out yet? You could go for a walk...
'Tis quite dark indeed - I will not consign me tender flesh to the streets!
Hey Deb, if you can't sleep, just click yourself to Connecticut and we'll do snow angels.
At my advanced age, I'm too chicken to do donuts, but I'll get some Krispy Kremes--donuts to beat all donuts. Then we can have a snowball fight. You invite anyone you like. Whooosh, splat!!
Snow angels! I would love to do snow angels!
No! Not another one of those Krispy Kreme people! What, is it a cult? ;-)
You can do sand angels, dlow. Just mind the scorpions and biting ants.*
* The Scorpions, of course, were a prototypical German hair band. The Biting Ants, a regular opening act for the Scorpions, have recently reformed and will be touring small coffee houses and parking structures in 2003. Look for dates in Odwalla, Willamagilla, and Perth.)
Sand angels - hmmm - nah, don't have what it takes...sand angels don't, I mean.
Look out. Margo's been flinging around inflammatory rhetoric.
