David, you don't want honest elections because your side loses.
Stop pretending this is something it's not.
U turned it around backward.
Your position is GLARINGLY illogical.

There is NO reason whatsoever against requiring pictures on voters' registration cards.
I noticed that u ignored my question qua distinguishing them from drivers' licenses or gun licenses.

@OmSigDAVID,
Your position is dishonest. Voter fraud is not a problem. Any tinkering with voting requirements is unnecessary, and therefore constitutes voter fraud by the back door. It brings to mind the analogy of the smiling assassin.

That is false, but even if it were true,
it is perfectly proper to prevent a problem from occurring;
e.g., it is not necessary to wait until someone gets killed by a drunken driver
b4 enacting prohibitory legislation against drunken driving.
Do u demand that no pictures be placed on drivers' licenses or on gun licenses????

1. That is a non-sequitur.
2. Do u allege that nothing can be done UNLESS it is necessary????

WHAT ???

What difference does it make
whether thay smile or not ??

@OmSigDAVID,
It's not false David, that's been shown countless times. You claim to follow logic, but insist on living in a fantasy world far from reality. That's not logical it's delusional, but in your case wilfully so. Insisting something is a particular way despite all evidence to the contrary is not an exercise in logic, it's an exercise in futility.

When I got my first full driving licence age 17 it had an expiry date of my 75th birthday. Every time I changed address I renewed it at no extra cost. Then more recently I found that due to European regulations I had to pay to get it renewed, along with the cost of a photograph, which now has to be renewed every ten years.

Was it better when I didn't have to pay just to have a driving licence with a photograph? Yes. It's all about big government keeping tabs on you and extracting more money from you.

I never thought you were in favour of that.

@izzythepush,
I suspect that u already know
that u cannot have functional elections
without limiting the voters to 1 each.

I m pretty sure that it will come out OK with the USSC.
I don t foresee any problem.

As long as sound reasoning wins in the end,
I guess its OK for u to express yourself like that; harmless, tho odd.

@OmSigDAVID,
Om: As long as sound reasoning wins in the end,

You'll have no part in that, Sig.

Om: I guess its OK for u to express yourself like that; harmless, tho odd.

Odd reply, Om, 'cause you realize that izzy described you perfectly - delusional.

Tez Walton took a home-made gun to school (he was our hero) and it was rumoured he was going to kill the peedo history teacher for abusing his younger brother but it all fell through. Half the male teachers were peedos.
The headmaster was the ringleader so he couldn't complain to him

@OmSigDAVID,
I wondered when someone was going to say something about the topic of the thread.

Where were all the A2K hamsters whining about people being off topic? Funny that the go to meme when there's an issue no one wants to face.

@OmSigDAVID,
Are you joking? Where in law does it say shooting accuses felons is legal? You don't like the Bill of Rights? You don't believe in due process?

Try the fundamental principles of human rights that underpin all legal systems on the planet.

People who find themselves under attack have a Natural Right to defend themselves from their attacker.

bobsal u1553115 wrote:

The Bill of Rights does not attempt to repeal any fundamental human rights. It would not have the authority to do so even if it did so attempt.

bobsal u1553115 wrote:

The principle of due process is unrelated to the principle of self defense.

You'd be a lot more pleasant without the childish name-calling.

And no, like it or not, all modern legal systems are indeed underpinned by the fundamental principles of human rights.

Freedom Haters might not like that reality, but reality it remains.

In most States, that language
is integrated as an exception into the law against homicide.
That is the statutory home of freedom of self defense
or defense of others from predatory violence.
Dont u know that??
It was pointed out quite a few times during the Zimmerman trial.

I suspect that u take a perverted, liberal twist to it, right ??

bobsal u1553115 wrote:

Due process is defensively killing violent criminals on-the-job.
