I peaked at the weather forecasts for tomorrow's games...
1 pm .... Miami @ Buffalo: Heavy rain
4 pm .... Pittsburgh @ Green Bay: Heavy snow
8 pm .... Chicago @ Philadelphia: Heavy rain

The government weather map (I think it is weather.gov) looks very colorful for the country's midsection for the next couple of days at least.
I listened to NPR's sports show It's Only A Game today. They had a long segment about the Super Bowl scheduled to be played in East Rutherford NJ...outdoors...in February. They have made some provision for dealing with a major snow event involving huge amounts of equipment and tons of salt...all meant to deal with the brave souls who will be forking over some 4 grand to be there. The game itself may have to postponed a day or two or a week.
My feeling is that it is silly to play a fall-winter sport in a 70 degree domed stadium. The teams should have to factor in the weather.
I am sure the Vegas bookies are unhappy.
Here in Virginia today it is 70 with a forecast of 73 tomorrow with the possibility of thunderstorms.
