@izzythepush,
I think he meant alcohol impairs judgement, but you are right, it is not quite the same as getting behind the wheel of a vehicle or holding a loaded gun while drunk. Both of those would be equally potentially harmful.

What the Founders intended to create by the 2nd Amendment
was an area (i.e., the defense of his or her life n property)
wherein each citizen is free, autonomous n immune from
any interference of government - an arena beyond the reach
of any government jurisdiction; a realm of private, personal liberty.

@OmSigDAVID,

You are reading way, way to much into what I wrote.

Apply common sense to your individual decisions.

Sense is NOT common, Waterman.
If it were then there 'd never have been any
disputed arguments, nor any wars.

If u wish to disagree with me,
then please do me the favor of identifying
specifically where I went rong. That's more fun.

@OmSigDAVID,
I didn't disagree with you, I was just attempting to keep it simple
so the dumbmasses had a fighting chance to grasp the concept.

@revelette,
It's just a strange thing to add along with guns and driving, operating heavy machinery usually comes next. I can't see bottles of vodka with warnings not to vote after drinking too much.

I don't think I've ever voted drunk, I normally vote in the morning, but I might have. I don't see what difference it would make, I'd still vote the same.

@izzythepush,
Drunk voting may account for Obama being elected to a 2nd term

Nothing at all reluctant about my endorsement of BBC and Channel Four News.
BBC is one of my main sources of news, and I used to post on the Channel 4 News messageboards just as much as I do here on A2K, before they shut their messageboards down a few years back.

I must say I've seen some pretty dishonest reporting from both the Guardian and the BBC the last couple days. I'm a little disappointed in them.

@parados,
I had a friend who used to do that. Sure pissed his wife off when he blew a hole in the bedroom ceiling.

My guns won't let me have a wife.

Yes, potentially harmful to a man or beast
that was attacking the drunk.
