You have something against White Castle?

I love White Castle hamburgers. Love 'em. But they sure as hell are not haute cuisine...and FOX "News" is about as far from real news as White Castle hamburgers are from chateaubriand.

Do you know how to read with comprehension??????

I don't really care for all of the Infotainment and Opinion shows on FOX, but FOX NEWS is much better than the many alternative 'news' outlets.

Considering your inability to qdequately comprehend a post on the Internet...I can understand why you feel that way.

We should prepare for when evil visits again and fight it with everything means available. Future senseless evil acts like the recent one in Newtown, Connecticut could be greatly reduced if we the people choose the logical path of training and arming faculty members in every single government school in this country.

Make it crystal clear that evil is not welcome here.

@Frank Apisa,
I'm sure you think Chris Mathews and MSNBC are the news equivalent of haute
cuisine, even though they constantly score an F- from the health inspector.

Eat well my friend, consume mass quantities.

I am reasonably familiar with the UK's news outlets, and with the exception of the BBC and the Guardian (and perhaps Channel 4 News), the lot of them are a cesspool of made up lies that are 1000 times worse than anything that Fox News has ever been accused of.

For a start it's very hard to believe that someone with such a limited vocabulary has even heard of, let alone read The Guardian, but for sake of argument let's assume he has. He clearly cannot distinguish between broadcast media and printed material, but he's probably scoured the redtops in his masturbatory obsession with Amanda Knox and sexual violence.

If you compare like with like, just broadcast media, he gives a reluctant thumbs up to the BBC and Channel 4 whilst castigating the rest. For some reason he has a problem with ITN News, but not with ITN's Channel 4 News. What's even more amusing is that he describes Murdoch's Sky News as, 'a cesspool of made up lies that are 1000 times worse than anything that Fox News has ever been accused of,' forgetting that Murdoch's Sky News is legally obliged to be unbiased, but Murdoch's Fox News can broadcast what the hell it wants.

This is where me and izzythepush differ. I can not find any value in calling people ignorant even if I think that they may be.

Another attack on human beings that I also disagree with often but how is this being emotional intelligent? Let me guess izzy has not yet found value in emotional intelligence? I think that if he understood it he would apply it so this is no attack on Izzy because I find it to be intellectual retarded to attack others.

I have not studied or researched what you said here in depth but I do know that my own mother agrees with some of his tactics even though I think she is naive, I still love her and if she is wrong I do not think she means to be.

Izzythepush is a deranged freak who supports the vermin Palestinians. As such, he can't help spouting name-calling at those of use who have ethics.

(And speaking of vermin Palestinians, that was some fine shooting Israel did in Gaza today. Very Happy)

Nothing at all reluctant about my endorsement of BBC and Channel Four News.

BBC is one of my main sources of news, and I used to post on the Channel 4 News messageboards just as much as I do here on A2K, before they shut their messageboards down a few years back.

I confess to not knowing much of ITN, but if they are associated with Channel 4, I suspect that I have no objection to them.

As for Sky News, I do indeed call them a cesspool of unmitigated crap. Mad

I don't keep track of what Rupert Murdoch owns, but I believe he owns The Times. I hope Amanda Knox sues The Times and bankrupts him.

Regarding my tactics, all I do is speak out in defense of the innocent and defend civil rights in general. If your mother is like that, you should be proud of her.

BURKESVILLE, Ky. — Authorities in southern Kentucky say a 2-year-old girl has been accidentally shot and killed by her 5-year-old brother, who was playing with a .22-caliber rifle he received as a gift.

Kentucky State Police said the toddler was shot just after 1 p.m. CDT Tuesday in Cumberland County and was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Cumberland County Coroner Gary White told the Lexington Herald-Leader that the children's mother was at home at the time.

White told the newspaper that the boy received the rifle made for youths last year and is used to shooting it. He said the gun was kept in a corner and the family didn't realize a shell was left inside it.

White said the shooting will be ruled accidental.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

A 5-year-old with a .22, a "rifle made for youths". You people really are insane.

Michele Wanko Accidentally Kills Husband During Drunk Gun Lesson In Pennsylvania

Quote:
A Pennsylvania man was killed Saturday when -- after a night of drinking -- he demonstrated for his wife how to operate a semiautomatic pistol.

“I shot him,” Michele Wanko, 42, told a Parkside Police officer when authorities arrived at the house around 4:00 a.m., the Delco Times reports. Authorities found Wanko's husband, 43-year-old Michael, lying near the entrance with a gunshot wound to the upper chest.

The couple had spent the night sipping vodka and lemonade when Michele asked for a gun lesson so she could protect herself, according to CBS. They went down to the basement where Michael stored his guns in a safe as their sons, 2 and 5, slept upstairs.

“He took several of the weapons out, handguns and was demonstrating to her how the weapon worked as far as taking the magazine out, making sure it was safe, and how to pull the slide back,” said Parkside Police Chief John Egan, according to NBC Philadelphia.

Michele picked up a gun but when she pulled the slide back, as she was taught, the weapon went off, striking her husband. Michael was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

"Why, after six-and-a-half hours of drinking, would you go down and handle a gun, especially with someone who never shot a weapon before?" Egan said, according to Philly.com. "The real big common denominator is the alcohol and it ended up costing him his life."

Michele was charged with involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and possessing an instrument of crime. The children are staying with relatives.

She probably shot him because he made her Mrs Wanko. I bet the kids got the piss ripped out of them at school being called that.

So in your opinion, should people be prosecuted for picking up a firearm if they have went over the legal limit like you do when you get behind the wheel of a car?

I actually never thought the legal status of alcohol and firearms. Did a quick look on google.

Quote:
Objectives

In the United States, injury is a leading cause of alcohol-related death, and alcohol use is the leading risk factor for injury. We reviewed state and federal legislation regulating the intersection of alcohol and firearms.

Methods

We examined the current criminal codes of all 50 states and the District of Columbia using the databases Westlaw and LexisNexis to review restrictions on firearm use while intoxicated.

Results

We found three types of laws in 26 states that restrict firearm use by intoxicated people: sales or transfers are restricted in six states, carrying of concealed weapons is restricted in four states, and possession or discharge of a firearm while intoxicated is restricted in 20 states.

Conclusions

Regulation of the carrying and use of firearms by acutely intoxicated individuals may represent a public health opportunity to reduce firearm-related injury.

Voting? Those little stubby pencils can cause a lot of damage.

OK, but let's stop n consider the human condition
as it exists. People drink; Prohibition was defeated.
I don't care much about alcohol particularly,
which is not to say that I never drink at all.
I have reason to dislike it in that I was nearly
killed by a drunken driverette 5 years ago,
who totaled out one of my cars as she was
returning home from a restaurant.

Anyway, if armed citizens have had fine meals and drink
(even falling down drunk) and thay r violently attacked
in the street by some pit bull dogs or by robbers or murderers,
shoud thay refuse to defend themselves from predatory violence??

Does a drunk relinquish his right to live? I don't believe
that capital punishment shoud be applied to getting drunk.
The 7th Circuit US Court of Appeals has recently declared
that the place where u have a right to defend yourself
is the place where u r attacked.
