75% of murders are gun violence.
Unless you are making the argument that all murders in major metro areas are with a gun it would be impossible for the majority of gun murders to happen in major metro areas.

But.... let's look at the other statistics

Only 45%of robberies with a fire arm occur in major metro areas with populations greater than 250,000
Less than 40% of assaults with a firearm occur in major metro areas with populations greater than 250,000

I'm curious what gun violence exists other than murder, assault and robbery.

One shooting doesn't move the numbers of gun violence much when we have over 260,000 instances of criminal gun violence per year in this country.

In fact, if we include your one instance, the numbers remain the same.
Major metro areas are not where the majority of gun violence occurs.
