@BillRM,
I got three votes down for stating that I were a few miles north of Homestead when Hurricane Andrew hit?

Odds people to say the least.

I'm sure the other kids in the playground thought that was really cool when you told them about it.

Not me Bill. I never down thumb. I got two DTs once for a short cut and paste from Wiki which I added nothing to.

I have up thumbed you and H2O a few times to encourage you to continue making fools of yourself.

The mother of the student wounded Thursday at Price Middle School in Atlanta told CNN affiliate WSB that
her son was struck in the head by a bullet which exited. She confirmed the 14-year-old was conscious and alert.

Police detectives are interviewing the (14-year old) victim in the hospital, his mother told CNN affiliate WSB-TV.
He knows the assailant, who the mother said was "talking smack" to her son before pulling out a gun and firing, the station said.

Atlanta, GA

This shooting was a targeted shooting that happened outside.
The school is a designated "Gun Free Zone" and the school has metal detectors.

This shooting is more like the daily shootings we see in Chicago, it just happened at a school.
Chances are good that one or both of these 14 year old kids has broken the law before.

Well, you keep saying that the problem is one of criminals with guns. I will be interested to see if the individual who did the shooting was a criminal...or just another law-abiding American with a right to own a gun.

We'll see...and we will see with each shooting discussed here.

Let's see, the shooter is 14 and took advantage of the school being a 'Gun Free Zone' by bringing a gun on school grounds...
these are criminal acts, aren't they FrankA?

Said 14 year old thug then adds a new dimension to his crime spree by shooting another human being.
Is that a criminal act in your world FrankA?

Police investigation should reveal additional criminal activities as they find out how this 14 year old got his hands on a hand gun.

This will be a most important part of the story.

BTW, Atlanta police did and excellent job of securing the crime scene - excellent!

Local radio interviews have provided audio that could be used to create another "Boo Got Shot" song... Who? Who?

Evidently, the school in Atlanta has a rather brutal bullying problem.

Criminal gang activity?

Why don't you write a letter of congratulations to the local newspaper H2O? You could cringe a lot more with one of those.

I suppose there might be a 14 year old somewhere in the UK who has a gun. It's a possibility.

THE ENTIRE OF THE COSMOS...calling H2O.

After someone starts shooting people without reason...OF COURSE THEY ARE CRIMINALS.

We are not talking about what they are AFTER the shooting.

The people who have been doing these shootings, H2O...if they had not done them...would be walking around like you talking about how decent, law-abiding Americans should all be allowed to buy and own guns.

Do you understand?

To say nothing of a knife or a baseball bat and so on or even a baseball and a gun.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Authorities briefly locked down five schools in Lincoln after a shooting in a nearby apartment.
The Lincoln Journal Star (http://bit.ly/Vx2CCX ) reports the schools reopened early Thursday afternoon. Exterior doors were locked, but activity continued as usual inside the schools because the shooting was off grounds.
Authorities say a man with a gun and another with a baseball bat burst into the apartment where the shooting took place. One man was shot in the stomach, although his injuries were non-life threatening.
The suspects later escaped in a vehicle.

VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) --

School Bus Altercation Ends in Stabbing

Authorities say a 15-year-old was stabbed five times after an argument with a younger boy began on a school bus and ended in a fight in their Valdosta neighborhood.

Quote:
Police said the 15-year-old was taken to South Georgia Medical Center after the fight Wednesday afternoon. Valdosta police Cmdr. Brian Childress said his wounds were not considered to be life-threatening.

Childress said the 14-year-old was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.

Childress told the Valdosta Daily Times (http://bit.ly/WC4NX3) that the two boys began arguing on their Valdosta City Schools bus. He said both left the bus and went to their homes, and the older boy then went to the younger boy's house and a fight ensued. Police say the 14-year-old pulled out a knife during the fight.

Charlie Brooker made an intersting point last night. If, as the head of the NRA would have you believe, a bad guy with a gun can only be saved by a good guy with a gun, then when a shooter turns the gun on themselves, they automatically become a 'good guy,' and die a hero's death.

@izzythepush,
LaPierre is obviously a con man. It is inevitable when he can't admit that the relationship between his members, good guys by his own assertions, and their guns, is a lascivious one and cannot be eradicated by a weak and ineffective government.

@spendius,
What about Mr Cameron walking through throngs of people in the streets of Libya. That's leadership. What nerve.

And now we have Beyonce admitting to lip-synching the NA at the inauguration. Was Mr Obarmy lip-synching? is the next question.
