Apparently you've forgotten the 1994 election. Americans don't like it when Democrats try to overthrow the Constitution.

The Democrats tried to overthrow the Constitution? Oh.. this must be your lack of evidence again and instead you rely on hyperbole.

1. When the party in control of Congress changes, it is not evidence of the other party trying to overthrow the Constitution.
2. You have no evidence of any act of Congress passed that was thrown out as unconstitutional. The ban on assault weapons was not overturned by the courts.

Pretty much any bozo can make a bomb. This kid probably could have brewed nerve gas if he'd wanted to. And if he'd gone on a hacking rampage, he probably could have done more damage to US infrastructure than all the hackers in the Chinese military.

It's a good thing you are Canadian djjd because it's obvious you are anti-American since you don't support killing kids.

Yes, and it probably couldn't happen today because of new rules put in place concerning fertilizer and rental trucks.

Oh all the farmers and suppliers have their tons of fertilizer under enough security to keep someone from taking a truck load at whim?

An rental trucks rules?

If you do not care about being found after the fact how does rental trucks rules interfere beside you can alway steal a truck for that matter.

Yes that attack could never never happen again......bullshit.

Hardly hyperbole. The left hates America's freedom even more than Osama bin Laden did. That is why the left is always trying to overthrow our Constitution.

If anyone values their freedom even a little bit, it is vital that they make sure to vote only for Republicans from now on, because if they don't, they are going to wake up one day in a country that no longer has any freedom.

It is difficult for me to figure out if you were just trying to make a joke here or not!

Not. The Democrats are plotting a major assault on our Constitutional liberties. It's going to be a big struggle to save our Constitution from their depredations.

Actually I'm surprised this kid used guns. I cannot imagine how someone like him got to a place where he'd even commit a massacre. But since he did get there, everyone is pretty lucky he stuck only to guns.

I think it is likely he wish to have fame and he knew that if he used any other means to killed those poor children but firearms the news coverage would be nowhere as great.

It is not the deaths/killings of 20 children that is driving this news coverage it the ability to use those sad deaths to try to drive anti gun laws.

@BillRM,
Yeah because farmers store tons of fertilizer that they don't use and wouldn't notice if it was missing. Rolling Eyes

Stealing a truck doesn't change anything. Failure to stop at weigh stations will still get you pulled over.

So, you are suggesting that tons of fertilizer and a rental truck could be stolen and there would be no response by law enforcement? A person would still be able to drive across country to a major metropolitan area without anyone the wiser. Maybe you should stop fondling your gun so much. It seems to be making your brain not work.

Which plot was that oralloy? Are you sure your tin foil hat didn't prevent it from happening?

@oralloy,
Freedom is in the **** oralloy with silly sods like you going into bat for it.

The idea that you can capture the word and wear it on your chest as a badge of honour is an absurdity.

50 million kids becoming anxious in schools isn't freedom. It's stealing childhoods with incalculable consequences.

Nonsense. I've already given you that evidence, over and over and over.

parados wrote:

True. But that particular change in control was brought about because of the strong reaction from the American people, who as it turned out did not like it very much when the Democrats tried to abolish American freedom.

parados wrote:

Irrelevant. I have irrefutable evidence that it IS unconstitutional.

And you know very well that I do. That is why you do all this bobbing and weaving. If you thought you had even a shot at establishing that assault weapons bans were legitimate, you'd be trying to make that argument.

parados wrote:

Yet.

Currently we're working on having the courts rule that everyone has the right to carry guns when they go about in public, even in our largest cities. That is almost done.

Not sure what is next on the agenda after that, but assault weapons bans should be struck off the books within the next ten years.

Come on if those 20 children had been killed in a school bus accident on their way to that school it would had gotten only a brief mention in the national news and we all know it.

Mass killers in the US tend to be white and brighter then average and I do share that with them along with most of the posters on this website.

An that is due to the anti gun driven wall to wall day in and day out news coverage that have little to do with the deaths of 20 children but how they died.

This over the top news coverage is likely setting up other children future deaths as copycats take note of the fame they could have by using an assault rifle to kill kids.

Not if he really was an Aspie like the news reports say. An Aspie would never think like that. The only thing I can think of is he must have been in a lot of emotional pain.

Yes. And that drives home the need for a strong response against the freedom haters next election.
