I don't mean how many "could" be gassed in 24 hours but instead the project would have to run 24 hours a day non stop every day of the week for 5 years straight to get the numbers to work them selves out to deliver 1.7 million.
That isn't realistic. That would mean they were constantly burning bodies, day in and day out. The trains would have to be constantly arriving and emptying prisoners who were led directly in and gassed immediately. No down time. No time to shave their heads, no time to take photos of them, not time to even escort them in to the room. It would have to happen immediately which is impossible.
