yeah. Baby moved for the first time last night!
It feels so weird! I don't have school today either, water pipe busted so they're trying to get that cleaned up for tomorrow. So it looks like i'll be spending another day in pajamas Razz

All I know now is that i'm 14 weeks pregnant..

You must be much farther along than three months:

Quote:
The first foetal movements felt by the mother during pregnancy (quickening) are usually between18 and 22 weeks of pregnancy.

nope, 14 weeks. I asked a few people about it, and everyone said I was right on track. (including my doctor).

I popped into see my doctor today, my due date was supposed to be Aug 21st but it's not Aug 8th, he wants to induce me a couple weeks early.

Angel,

I'm no doctor but isn't it a bit early to be talking about stuff like that?

Not that it matters with an imaginary baby, but how can people play along if you don't make it believable?

imaginary baby? and no it's not too early, i have really small hips and if I have a big baby I won't be able to have it vaginally. so the doctor told me it's safer to do it a couple weeks earlier.

Hope your parents can talk some sense into them.

Fact is, a lot of people (myself included) think that 16 is too young to be parents. But it sounds like both you and Andrew have a good head on your shoulders, and can make this work. Note that I didn't say it would be easy! Wink Marriage is a lot of work, it's no walk in the park. . . but enough about my relationships. . .

Glad to see your pop coming around. I suspected that your mom would take it pretty good, and it sounds like that's happening.

Do keep us informed of what's going on.

Oh, and my wife always gets induced at the earliest possible point, when the baby's lungs are mature. 35 to 37 weeks along is not unheard of.

Craven - you know, I've been reading from the start, but haven't commented - because I've been thinking the same thing. IMed some people just because it was driving me crazy.

Glad it's not just me.

me 4. I've got a mixture of empathy, compassion, and skepticism. If all is valid, I'll feel guilty about having watched this as a "soap opera", but I am hooked and can't stop.

I've thought this from the beginning but then Newfoundland is always a little different.

Just curious, if I said "Aunt Deborah", how many people here would know what I meant?
