Amaze your musician friends by using it in a sentence.

this is by my favourite jackrabbit (slim)

Meet me in the middle of the day
let me hear you say everything's okay
bring me southern kisses from your room

Meet me in the middle of the night
let me hear you say everything's alright
let me smell the moon in your perfume

Gods and years will rise and fall
and there's always something more
It's lost in talk, I waste my time
and it's all been said before

While further down behind the masquerade the tears are there
I don't ask for all that much I just want someone to care

Meet me in the middle of the day
let me hear you say everything's okay
come on out beneath the shining sun

Meet me in the middle of the night
let me hear you say everything's alright
sneak on out beneath the stars and run

It's king and queen and we must go down behind the chandelier
where I won't have to speak my mind and you won't have to hear
shreds of news and afterthoughts and complicated scenes
we'll huddle down and hide behind the light and fade like magazines

Meet me in the middle of the day
let me hear you say everything's okay
let me see you smiling back at me

Meet me in the middle of the night
let me hear you say everything's alright
hold me tight where love and loving's free

I looked it up in my dictionary - nada. So, I need to find a music dictionary?

Me too, Dasha.... I like those two words, whatever they mean.

So, the closest I could find to lapadiddle is labadoddle (a mix-breed dog).

Sorry, lil'k...I should have warned you. Never get into a battle of words with Joe. You can't win.

I should know. Embarrassed

I always suspected colorbook was a drummer.

She just has that drummer aura about her.

Sorry to hear that, littlek, but at least Joe's had to pay for winning the word game this time. Now that his son has probably read some of his long-winded, explicitly detailed recollections of conquests past. (One can hope.)

ROTFLMAO, Joe!!! (If he does have a problem with what he reads, then it serves him right. What's he doin' telling his FATHER about stuff like that, anyway? Sheesh...like father, like son. Neither one of you can resist telling, now can you?)
