@roger,
To summarize, republicans don't know who they want. Romney may be "less extreme," but he doesn't have any idea about how the middle class and poor survive in this world. He has no empathy or sensitivity for the poor.

If more people really understood how he made his wealth by destroying companies and jobs, I wonder how conservatives would really vote? Or, don't they care.

Not so you can tell. As long as the 1% are making it most of them couldent care less about the 99% that make up the surfs.

But it's the 1% that can afford to live next to the ocean. The rest of us don't get to see the surf much let alone cavort in it.

@parados,
In the news today.

@Ceili,
OK, what was Santorum going to say at 34:30?

Talking about Barack Obama, he calls him an "anti-ware, government ni-uh."

He balks, but damn that sounds bad.

@roger,
He got a bit tongue tied. He accused Obama of being "anti-war." I can't follow what he said right after that.
It seems as though all of the Republican candidates are outraged at Obama's open mic comment to Putin in Korea last week. Is that a viable issue in your mind?

@realjohnboy,
Personally, I think that anyone who isn't anti-war is an idiot.

Who on Earth is pro-war?

@realjohnboy,
It's an issue, but wouldn't switch my vote if I had been planning on voting for him, anyway.

he didn't say "anti-government ni-uh", he said "anti-government nig-uh" very definite hard"g" sound. So I looked at my dictionary. What words begin with 'n-i-hard g". Niggard, niggardly, neither of which fit anything he was saying, and the only other one is the one we all think he's saying. Out of his own mouth.
