@izzythepush,
That post is unbelievable--even for BillRM. Laughing

I think he has absolutely no credibility when he claims he never gets drunk. I think he's rarely sober, and it's evident in posts like that. Drunk

@firefly,
It gets to the point where I can't even be bothered to work out what he means.

Another thing he pointed out was that he didn't have any alcohol it the house, which he thinks proves he's not an alcoholic. Most alcoholics I've met don't have any alcohol in the house, because they've drunk it all, they restock daily.

Whenever he tries to deny something about himself, he goes so overboard trying to do it that it sounds even fishier. It's like, "the lady doth protest too much."

I have a little red wine in a box at the moment in the house but that is it.

Never been a beer drinker and I did almost just stop at a country and Western bar on my way home tonight and if I had done so I would had likely had one drink such as a rum and coke.

But what the big deal a lot of people are not heavy drinkers and I will and had admitted here that when on vacation in Cancun with an all you can drink and eat deal I try my best of get my and my wife money worth in both food and drinks.

Hell the last time I was in Cancun just for a week I gain ten pounds.

Been known to tease doctors when ask if I drink by replying only in Cancun.

@hawkeye10,
Hawkeye do you remember when you was growing up if the adults around you try to cause you to fear strangers?

I was raised in PA and NJ in the 1950s/60s and I can not remember any attempt to drill in fear of strangers when I was growing up and as far as I know none of my age cohort had that fear drill into them either.

In fact at a fairly early age I was allow to wander the broadwalk of Seaside Height NJ by myself surrounded by thousands of tourists enjoying the rides ETC.

Oh Seaside Height is now being used as the town for that god awful show the Jersey shores.

Strange town as in the winter there was only a few hundreds people living in the town but come summer the numbers of visitors ramp up to a hundred thousands or so.

Maybe your parents were hoping that someone would kidnap you. Laughing

I knew they were trying to get rid of you, one way or another.

That's also why they never warned you not to talk to strangers. Laughing

Growing up in Rockford Il B1962 we were not encouraged to fear as so many are today....we were taught sense on how to stay safe, we were told how recognize evil and told that if we should find it we should try to stay away and then report it to trusted adults. But it was more like "you might one day run into this and if you do this is what you do", it was not as it is today "evil people are everywhere! WATCH OUT!"

@firefly,
One of the benefits of being ignored by Bill is that his posts re-enforce my comments.

I couldn't begin to tell you how much alcohol I have, admittedly I like making cocktails, but to sit down and list it all would take a couple of hours minimum. I've still got quite a lot of absinth I brought back from Prague in 2009, the stuff that's illegal where you are.

@hawkeye10,
Strangely I can not remember any conditioning being done not to trust unknown adults in my youth.

In fact there was training to show respect for all adults that I do remember.

The Fireflies of the world had not yet convince the population to fear all unknown males as likely pedophiles it would seems.

Love the idea that if you are a male you should be a object of fear to children because of that fact and a male setting very openly in a middle of a park full of parents along with children telling any child that approach that he or she would need to get a parent over to give approval for any adoption is such an evil figure.

Wonder how I would or could had drag some child off to do evil deeds to them in such a setting but then logic and common sense is never never a high point in the fear all male adults crowd.

Thank god in the end I found homes for those kittens and hopefully good homes at that.

Sadly even those I had all the kittens and the mother checked by my vet for all cat diseases there was a false negative in regards to cat leukemia and with no warning at all I lost the one kitten that I had fallen in love with and kept at the age of two years and found out the mother cat that I had also kept is now checking positive for that deadly cat disease even those she is in good health at the moment. My other two older cats are thankfully not checking positive.

I will never know if my kitten litter mates had come down with this disease also or will do so in the future but I did have the checks done before offering them for adoptions.

Oh yes Firefly my telling of the story of trying to find homes for those kittens at the park is indeed a secret confession that I am a pedophile at least in your sad world view.

Now I will get to watch you cut the above sentence apart and I will see the following being posted "Oh yes Firefly my telling of the story of trying to find homes for those kittens at the park is indeed a secret confession that I am a pedophile" completely out of content.

What a sad and dishonest human being you happen to be.

@BillRM,
U were wise to check with their parents,
for the protection of the kittens.

Good luck with the mother cat.

People r less fearful when u r sufficiently well armed, in your own defense.
I lived in tranquility.

@OmSigDAVID,
David I would never had dream of handing over a kitten to a child without the approval of a parent and thanks for your good wishes for the mother of the kittens that I had name Midnight.

So far she is showing no signs of this deadly disease that already ended my cat Smokey life at so very young an age.

@BillRM,
My ex-girlfriend, Maralyn, had a black cat whom she named Ebony.
She was devoted to him.
Fortunately, he lived long enuf for Maralyn 's child, Nancy, to be born; she is probably in her 3Os by now.

It is very bitter, I have to be in the right frame of mind, it's not something to have on your own.
