Is that stuff that JTT says about America true?

@Builder,
You don't even get a nice try on that one. Subsequent to that post, you tried to claim it was all about depleted uranium.

There's been no denying the deformities, and DU was the prime suspect, Setanta. New evidence has now emerged.

So now you're attempting to weasel out of it. I'm not surprised. More disparaging personal remarks, too. That's about the last of the arrows in your pathetic quiver, isn't it?

You didn't prove the point you were attempting to make re depleted uranium.

I don't see the need to now, ehBeth.

The cause of the rapid increase in deformities has now been established.

As for DU, talk to the Japanese about their adamance on cleaning up the mess left by US troops on several of their island training bases.

For better or worse, DU is not accepted universally, and it does require safe storage facilities prior to becoming canon fodder.

@Builder,
A cause has been alleged, it has not been established. And, of course, you were still trying to claim that depleted uranium was the cause even after the source you provided denied it. I don't deny that U. S. weapons systems might be the culprit in what are at this point, allegations of horrendous health risks. The point, however, which you keep trying to dodge, is that you have proven nothing.

I think its obvious that SUBSTANTIVELY, Setanta is absolutely right. Setanta is not stupid,
but I found some humor in his [of all people!] objection to disparaging personal remarks. That 's rich!

The point, which i'm not surprised David misses, is substituting disparaging personal remarks for an argument. Personally, i prefer to demonstrate that someone is full of **** before taking a chunk out of his or her hide.

America, Politics, Curiosity, Us Politics, U S Politics

Some pretty unbelievable Tag stuffing going on here. How about "Incredible American Delusional Behavior"? "American Children Gone Wild"? Gracie Schools the "Adults""?

@cicerone imposter,
Quote:
Think Iraq and Vietnam. Both wars were started on lies, and we ended up killing tens of thousands of innocent people.

First, they weren't wars. They were illegal wars of aggression, war crimes, acts of the most awful forms of terrorism.

And the numbers, "tens of thousands" - typical even for an open minded, thinking American like CI. Millions in Vietnam, probably a million in the saturation bombing of Laotian and Cambodian cities, towns and villages, responsibility for the further carnage wrought by the Khmer Rouge.

I heard a report the other day where an Iraqi journalist, a "friend" to the US was saying how Iraqis are so sickened by the casual disregard for the numbers who have died, the incredible low balling that the US media always engages in to hide the actual numbers murdered during their war crimes.

@PUNKEY,
A typical study in the vacillations of American "adults", Gracie.

(BTW - I objected to one of JTT's posts when he/she ranted about our military in Iraq and how our soldiers were "raping and murdering" the citizens over there. Since my son was there, as a part of the National Guard, I objected to that blanket statement.

Plan B: When you can't vacillate, resort to lies.

Thomas was nice enough to offer to tutor her on historical American atrocities, but she apparently has declined his offer.

Not only Gracie, Finn. For her - though exceedingly bright, she's still only a 13 year old - it's understandable. For the "adults" here, it's completely incomprehensible, albeit understandable.
