@Izzie,
Day before in Oz. We thank you.

They've been mad for play today. Needed a walk but I was cleaning.

Walk tomorrow in self defense!

@dlowan,
I'm just feeling really soppy about the woollies...which likely means they're about to do something absolutely abysmal.

Sebastian is being so goddam cute with his jumping up and asking for love, and his general happy and boisterous demeanour and his weird little character and hyper-activity, in which he constantly checks with me that he is REALLY being a daring, dangerous little dude.

Viola is being excruciatingly lovely with her kisses and rollings over and flirtings and just generally over-brimming with love and naughtiness. Her vocal responses to chat are just charming....she's hyper at present too.

Viola is also getting bolder....when Sebastian scampers out of the door and down the corridor, Viola is now coming also and often going farther than he does. Brave girl!

They're just such loving, happy little beings...albeit demanding and mischievous. And BOSSY! If I don't submit to my cleaning rituals, I am firmly held down, like a kitten with two bossy mums.

Just had to be all gooey. If you want to be gooey about your darlings, past or present, please join me in disgusting gooeyness.

Viola really looks like her mum.

She's Trabree Kiki at the top of the page.

@dlowan,
Here's a poem I wrote about Miranda.

Miranda is a beautiful cat
Her coat black and glossy.
Eyes green. Feet white.
Personality--bossy.

Deb, You brung up bossy. Got me remembering. Enjoy dem woollies. I'm enjoying them with you, long distance.

@sozobe,
I enjoyed your enjoyment.

Of course, after that Sebastian slipped into the pantry, broke into the instant coconut powder container and spread it all over the pantry and the floor.

@dlowan,
Well, you knew you were asking for it.

Still, it needed to be said.

My cats, whom I loved dearly, seem so boring compared to yours! Almost like a different species. They were gorgeous, and they were sweet, and they definitely had their quirks, but they also just mostly laid around in a heap in sunbeams.

@sozobe,
Mine are quieter when I'm home all day. They just seem to need a certain amount of interaction per day, and often it has to be packed into a small space.

However, where I am, they generally follow, and they certainly don't sleep and lay around a lot.

@dlowan,
Bloody Sebastian made me think we were having an earthquake last night!

I was awoken shortly after I went to bed by a monstrous banging noise.

I leaped out of bed and muzzily found my way to the kitchen, where I saw the pantry doors rocking. There was white dust on the floor.

I thought this must be plaster dust and we were having an earthquake.....then processed that the place wasn't shaking, only the pantry door was in violent motion.

Opened it and out walked Sebastian......and an avalanche of white powder.

He'd obviously snuck into the pantry cupboard when I opened it. He'd then happily busied himself ripping open my packet of coconut cream powder. When he'd eaten all he wanted, he demanded to be let out.

I hope it makes his poohs like concrete and he suffers.

Dat little devil. Hah! Reminds me of the time I opened the refrigerator door, and Miranda jumped out. She hadn't finished browsing, but I think she was cold.

Love dem felines.

@Roberta,
So far Sebastian has almost been through a washing machine cycle, a dishwasher cycle, been found in the fridge twice and been trapped in more wardrobes and kitchen cupboards than you would believe possible.

@ehBeth,
Hard to describe the look, isn't it?

Kind of "where's the world at......I WANT it!"

He has the best mischief face....I'll try and capture it.

Viola has a mischief face too......but it's more kind of wicked and interpersonal.....

@dlowan,
There's something a bit Sopranos about his look in that baby pic.

Who YOU lookin' at?
