I'll still say that Deb is trapped in an abusive relationship with her two little masters, and that she's desperate to rationalize her wishful thinking that they really are good people, I mean, kittens. It's a sad sight to behold. And I'd like more pictures of it, please.

Haven't checked the pooh situation today.

Well I think it's a positive sign that you had no pressing reason to check, Deb. Smile

@dlowan,
One of my Cunning Plans has just backfired.

I've taken to leaving bits of food around in almost impenetrable containers...like thick plastic.

The latest one is the remnants of their kitten food in its plastic sack. Theyve been working at that for days. Now it's nearly one am and viola is noisily working at it in my bedroom, where she just brought it from the living room.

Sometimes they steal stuff and work at getting it out of the container, then confidently bustle in with it together for me to open it for them....thus convicting themselves of criminal activity.

There's something a bit Sopranos about his look in that baby pic.

Who YOU lookin' at?

Lol....yes....except in his case if it IS him you are looking at, he'll try and kill you with effusive affection: Cool! can I lick your face? Can I nibble your fingers? Can I bite your nose? Can I play with your hair? You gonna tickle my tummy? we gonna go play?? Huh?"

@Thomas,
They're perfectly benign despot wannabes.

@dlowan,
Next thing you'll say "they're just playing". That's what the owners of murderous dogs always say.

@Thomas,
If you could only see the little faces gazing at me now you'd be straight down here to apologize in person!

@dlowan,
Thanks for the invite!

Who knows, we might get there sometime. (One of E.G.'s former postdocs now lives in Adelaide -- I think! Definitely Australia but I don't remember exactly where. Yes I know Australia's big.)

Mind you - they have roads, and expressways, that only go one way! If you don't want to go that way, you're stuffed!

Or your GPS throws a fit!

@dlowan,
Whoa! Best walk in the park thus far. Viola wanted out immediately and walked and walked and walked. She is slowly learning to go where I want her to, but not as fast or cooperative as Sebastian yet.....but still bloody great! We were out for about an hour.

And somebody had a woolly wee out in the real world for the first time!

Wanna guess who?

Why do I have a cat who hoots and a cat who yips?

@dlowan,
Cuz you're lucky. That's why. I had a yowler, a squeaker, and a meower.

Glad the walk in the park was a success.
