@ehBeth,
They certainly know whatever is happening.

They hear even better than dogs. I don't see the big ears, cos I've had big eared breeds forever. Moggy ears look really stumpy to me!

@dlowan,
Ow! I heard a horrible squawk and found poor little Sebastian with a very sore hind leg. I couldn't find any breaks, but was watching him carefully for a while, but decided he was so cheerful I didn't need to rush him anywhere.

Now he's busy galloping around after Viola, so I guess he's ok. Limping still, but weight bearing and able to torment others.

Is it just the picture, or is Viola getting darker?

@Thomas,
She's getting darker. Happens with Siamese, but her points and coat seem to be darkening quite rapidly.

@dlowan,
just think, six short months ago this thread was all about Sebastian's pooh ... and Mummy Bunny trying to explain who was in charge when it came to biting Mummy Bunny (I've been re-reading from about page 15)

@ehBeth,
STILL working on the biting!!! He's much better.....there are ritual times when he still tries to bite...but he knows no.

Re the pooh.....we will soon be on adult food, and I am hoping the pooh issue will become smaller. I think kitten food is VERY nutrient dense. But the poohs are much easier to manage.

To think I have actually kinda sorta done a cat blog!!! Whoodathunk.

These cats are still crazed about face and especially nose licking...can't find it in any of the breed literature. They hold me down like a mum cat holds 45555555555 (Viola typing) down a kitten. I am wondering if one of the mothers was a compulsive face licker.

Thank you for reading back...that's a real compliment.

@ehBeth,
You know....Sebastian's face has been consistent from first photo to last.

Or at least the expression. He's such a "where's the action?" little guy.

I thought Viola would look like a wild sheep forever....and then suddenly she had neat marcel waves!

She's watching me benignly from her favourite computer desk perch as type.

@dlowan,
OWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Serious woolly injury received from Viola.

She mistook my finger for the food wrapper we were playing with and I copped a real bite.

Puncture wound on both sides of my left index finger.....and does the one on top ever hurt!

Have to watch for infection and may need a tetanus booster.

Man they have strong jaws for such little animals.

Disinfected as far as I can get in.......but who knows.

Viola, of course, is happily oblivious.

@dlowan,
Viola is supposed to be happily oblivious. I'm not. Should I be worried? I'll wait for further developments.

Are your toes ok?

@Roberta,
Woolly birthday on the 14th. That's a day and a bit here...and we're back to pooh.

Namely, Viola's. Nasty diarrhoea. However, since she's been constantly demanding vigorous play ever since I got home 6 hours ago, and is still doing so, I can't see that she feels bad. She's even driven Sebastian nuts.

Not a long drive, I grant you.
