It was the flying that got the attention. But a thing spinning on the floor could work too.

How did they fly? The only flying ones I have seen are really expensive remote controlled ones with real motors. I think the rotors of those would hurt the cats.

You pull a string. Very, very cheap. No mechanical parts. No batteries. No nuttin'. Just a string. I can't tell you how much Mikey loved dem copters. Jumping and trying to catch them in the air.

They're very light, so when they hit something, nothing even moves.

Wish I still had them. I'd send them to you.

Given that they become sexually mature at about six months and that, if she had remained entire and allowed to roam freely, she would likely be farewelling her second set of kittens and about to have her third, I think we can assume she has entered her teens.

Older I think....she's too sweet and loving most of the time to be thirteen.
