@dlowan,
Thank god it's the weekend, I say, after reading all that ... you certainly have your hands full.
Really sorry about Viola's stubborn ulcer requiring yet another vet visit.
And your neck pain, of course, Deb. Bring on the correct Thursday!
And as for Sebastian .... good luck with the clean-up! You may have to sleep on the couch tonight.
Never a dull moment, hey?

@msolga,
Kittens underwhelmed with fountain......though Sebastian was interested initially. I'm not sure I have it put together quite correctly.

Kittens have had several hours unsupervised access to balcony this evening.....I closed door once they came in. So far, so good.

@dlowan,
deb, I'll be waiting to hear if you can get them interested in the fountain. I never could get the monster cat interested.

Also waiting to hear how the hell you are. Waiting for the docs to do the dead nerve thing and give the bunny some relief.

I get noivous when I hear that the woollies are on the balcony. Why? What else do I have to worry about?

@eurocelticyankee,
That's not MY boy.

Viola to vet and Sebastian taken fr walk today.

Vet said can stop sliming Viola....Sebastian went further than ever before...crossed road into NEXT bit of parklands!

Viola's eye issue still visible...but seems to be healing well.

Sebastian has not equalled the vast chunder of the other day....but is still chewing a lot of grass and decorating everything with his innards. To vet if this doesn't settle.

It's always something!

@eurocelticyankee,
Thats a Bombay cat. Weve had bombays and MAine Coons for all our time out here. The Bombays are the coolest cat for idiosyncratic personality, and MAine Coons are the friendliest.

@Rockhead,
Sick kitties are no fun. They are so pitiful when you wrap them in a towel to medicate them.

@dlowan,
I hate it when that happens.

and stinky knows there's hell to pay when I catch him wearing them...

(actually I have never proven that it was not me forgetting where I left them)

@Rockhead,
I know where mine were. They knock them down as part of their trying to force me to get up routine. This time they've taken them. Luckily I found my old pair or I'd be blind. Now I am looking for both the current pair I actually wear and the current pair I don't wear. Can't find either.

Sadly, that Bombay is filing its PADS, not its CLAWS. That's gotta hurt.

Rockhead rocks!

Found them where I had successfully hidden them from both cats and myself!

@dlowan,
Well. It finally happened yesterday.

Viola fell into the bath as she was trying to get a drink.

Poor little thing did one of those awful running on the spot things as she tried to get traction on the slippery bath surface......just as I reached her to lend a hand, she managed to get out herself.

Sebastian helped lick her dry, which was either very sweet or just part of the woolly eternal search for water from odd places!

@dlowan,
A floating feline. Glad she's ok. And nice to see Sebastian helping out--regardless of his motivation.

How are your nerves?

@Roberta,
Lol! Actually, I have been so busy at work I haven't had time for any.....and then yesterday afternoon the most awful tummy bug came on....so I've been too miserable for any. oy veh! Viola has been extremely affectionate while I have been so ill, little knowing that walking on my tummy was NOT indicated because it was so sore. I seem able to keep water down now.

@dlowan,
Bunny. You ain't supposed to be sick. I can worry from any distance. But there's nothing I can do for you when you're so far away.

Glad the water remains. Be well, bubbele.

@Roberta,
Don't worry, I'll get better. Wow, this was painful, though....lower down pain. Considered getting a doctor in at one point.....but then thought it likely that Valium would ease cramping, or make me sleep through it....one or both of which seems to have been the case.

Cats very puzzled that mum went to bed as soon as she got home...after changing litter box....but kept getting up and going to the bathroom, but then wouldn't play all the normal and very exciting bathroom games. Just kept smiling weakly and saying Sorry pusses...I'm too sick.

Why go to the bathroom and get woolly hopes up and then not play?

Why do they want to lick my nose so much? They'd lick INSIDE it if I let them!

@dlowan,
Anyone want two ferking kittens?

One of the things they knocked down last night was my pot of magnoplasm....which is a sticky paste which flows, very slowly, like water.

It flowed all over my carpet, took out an expensive electrical device, which I think is dead, and made an unholy mess which is proving near impossible to clean up.

They're cheap.
