@dlowan,
Doesn't sound fun, but I hope you get some lasting relief soon.

Your kits have a fascinating diet - heaps of variety!

Possum seems to be fixated on dairy products, which he's not supposed to have!

@margo,
Mine love cheese and yogurt.

Just back from vet.....poor little Viola has an ulcerated eye. Ointment, vitamin C and a damn collar. She's VERY unhappy about the collar, but I have been warned it must stay on no matter what in case she rubs her eye. Very painful but she has been extremely stoic about any pain, except for winking permanently.

Heart murmur not evident to different vet today.

Then I had a fainting fit and had to be driven home! Hadn't managed to intersect with food today, but that's not usually a drama...had driven long way up to my doctor and back with severe neck pain and that can occasionally make me feel weird. Still, very odd indeed. Better now.

@dlowan,
My bunny fainted??!

Thud.

Sorry to hear about Viola's eye. I'm sure she hates the collar. Who wouldn't?

Please, deb. No more fainting.

How you feeling now, kid?

Oy.

@Roberta,
Oh, I never actually fainted....I just had to keep sitting and then actually lying down. Lasted about 30 minutes. Once I lay down for ten minutes or so I started to come good.

Very weird. They kindly drove me homein my car because it didn't seem very safe. I've eaten and am still lying down as much as I can...when I get up neck really hurts. Taken pills.

Poor Viola wandering round and round getting used to collar. I can track her as she hits stuff. She's had a pain injection so I think she feels better, so she's lively, but the collar drives her nuts. She's eaten and all.

@dlowan,
Good news is they'll be setting time for first nerve zapping session. Hope it's soon....at last all this private health cover I've paid for all these years is worth something!

Then they block left medial nerve and zap it if the block helps.

@dlowan,
So sorry you are still in pain Deb. Do hope they can do more to sort it out.

Poor Viola - ugh, ulcerated eye - that sounds horrific, poor baby.

Scritches and strokes from here.

@dlowan,
Animals are SO stoic!

Here's Viola, collar and all, playful and lively.....although very discombobulated.

She must have been in a lot of pain and is showing her relief....but was she miserable and complaining before? NO!

@dlowan,
Just home & catching up on your latest news, Deb
Aw, poor Viola. An ulcerated eye. But good news about no sign of the heart murmur, yes?
Oh & a fainting fit!
What a day you've had!

@msolga,
Oh damn....she was incredibly upset when the ointment went in....crying pitifully...AND when she was crying I noticed that she has half knocked out one of those weeny little front bottom teeth.

It's obviously out of place. That HAS to hurt, right? I think I'll just make it all more horrible if I try to do something with it.

Poor little baby....I can't stand it when they sob like that.

She managed to get her collar off, but vet said it was crucial, so I put it back on.

Its hard being a mum sometimes!

@dlowan,
OK, I'm holding both your paws now.
And trying to think of what you might do next ....
I wish I could suggest something helpful, Deb, but I get as distressed as you sound now, when things like this happen.
Aw, poor little thing! Sad
Poor you!

When you say she has half knocked out her tooth, do you mean it's broken, or it's loose?
Giving her the next lot of eye ointment is going to be tough.
Has she calmed down a bit now?

I think you do, too! Smile
So pleased to hear that she's perked up!

About the eye ointment: do you think it was a reaction to the ointment itself, or she became upset with having something put in her eye?
Might be an idea to check with the vet in the morning if you think there might be a problem with the ointment.

I'm hoping that you'll be able to drop off into a sound sleep soon, Deb.
It sounds like you really need it!
What a bugger of a day!

@msolga,
I think it was the shebang in total. The ulcer is nasty so she needs the ointment.

She's asleep already!

And what about you?
Will you be able to sleep now? (I hope your back's not playing up!)
