@dlowan,
What do you mean you're inclined to fall over when you walk? That's fine?

Glad the pain is being tended to but please don't fall down.

@msolga,
The knock out drugs were very pleasant...with very minor side effects.

I'm not wobbly now.

Just settling in my bed with my baby sitter in hers. Woollies locked away in study because they would have harassed guestnall night.

Remarkably little pain.

@msolga,
CI'm fine but had very restless sleep....I think the drugs, or the relief that it wasn't awful and very painful?, made me a bit manic. Not sure which.

I DO have a headache....which is quite nasty so it's lucky I took today off. Not allowed to drive and such but I'm all stocked up for the weekend.

Woollies spent the night locked in the study, as I didn't think a three hour kitten Le Mans would have been fun for my friend! I therefore have some very smoochy woollies right now, as she had to leave at 6.30 and let them out then.

I was quite pleased with their manners. They were well behaved at meal time....viola was pretty friendly and even Sebastian was not too overwhelming. He even gave up trying to steal the salad!

@dlowan,
Glad you got some relief. Sorry to hear about the headache. Glad the woollies showed some manners.

@dlowan,
So how are you feeling now, Deb, late on this Friday afternoon?

I hope that the manic side-effects of the drugs have worn off & you're feeling like a pain free New Woman after resting today.

I am very impressed by the woollies' excellent manners while your friend was present. Perhaps they've turned over a new leaf? Smile

@msolga,
Still pretty good....I was a bit more stuffed around by it than I thought, as I discovered when I went out...but I've had some real pain relief. It's weird having pain on the left but not much on the right! When I feel my neck I can feel where the sensation is altered.

Sadly, not having been able to eat much in the past week and a half I stuffed myself on green chicken curry tonight.....burp.

Viola is making up for her erstwhile good behaviour now!

@dlowan,
Glad you're still not in terrible pain. And glad Viola has reverted back to form. I'd hate to think that your cats (or anyone's cats) were well behaved.

@dlowan,
Not a great day by the sounds of it, Deb.
Sorry about the return of the back pain & Viola's eye.
Hope the vet visit won't be necessary, but what about you? Back to the doctor's tomorrow?

@msolga,
Nah....I need to make an appointment though. His nurse was supposed to call me, but didn't.

Not sure if we repeat last step a bit, or move to zapping the nerve. I hope the latter.

I can understand that. You must be thoroughly sick & tired of the on-again/off-again pain.
What's involved in the zapping?
I have no idea.

@msolga,
They kill a weeny bit of the nerve they anaesthatised.

Sometimes they want to do the anesthetizing thing with more nerves first.

I'd like em to just zap as much as they want in one go!

@dlowan,
Phew, that doesn't sound anything like as painful, nor as complicated as I was imagining.
Good luck with it, Deb.
Sounds like the sooner the better, from your perspective.

@dlowan,
Sounds like quite a drawn out process.
I can certainly understand your impatience to have it all over & done with.

I hope Viola's eye has improved a bit by now.

@msolga,
Still winking and looks red. Vetty-byes tomorrowif not better, methinks., though she seems happy otherwise. But the winking is just sad.

Sorry to hear that the pain is back. I'm assuming that nerve zapping is not invasive.

Also sorry to hear about the winking/blinking.

It's always something.

@Roberta,
They shove a needle in and do something weird to it.

Winking, yes....it's always SOMETHING.
