@dlowan,
Yep, no worries. When you take the card out of the camera can you pop it straight into your computer. I'd advise saving/copying it straight onto your hard disk into "my video" folder if you wish to keep the videos (oh, I don't know if you are using a MAC - I don't know anything about MACs, I was assuming windows).

If you go into "my computer" and click on the folder, take a note what the file is saved as. i.e. .MOV, .AVI, .WMV

If it's a .MOV or .WMV (I think it's wmv) then you can upload direct from the card onto photobucket. Let me know when you wanna try and I can go through it with you if that's any help.

Do hope that Thursday will block the pain. Horrible neck pain. In the meantine, do try and rest up as best you can.

@dlowan,
Sorry to hear about the ongoing pain and the new business with your neck. I hope you get some relief out of the nerve block.

I love reading your kitty stories!

We were a one-cat household for years and years and years. Then, a few months after our cat died we decided to get a new kitten. We couldn't pick between two so we ended up bringing both of them home. We wondered whatever possessed us to be a one-cat household. They do so much better with another cat around and we get double the pleasure (and trouble)!

@Izzie,
Well, to begin with, the camera talks to the puter via an USB cable....you don't take the card out.

I'll figure out later....and immay yell forbhelp!

No rest for me any more....back to work tomorrow.

Man have I slept! Slept pretty much for two days on Monday and Tuesday.

@JPB,
Yes...they're damn cute together. Thank god I got two! The intensity of these cats....without each other to play with I'd be mad by now from the demands!

A friend got a single Devon Rex some months before I got my two and they are finding meeting his emotional needs and play needs quite wearing.

Cringing for you, bunny. Don't like to hear that you're in pain. Hope this nerve-block thing does the trick.

@Roberta,
Actually the neck has generally been feeling better until this episode...which is a doosey.

There's a kitten Le Mans been going on here for HOURS....led by Viola!

I've been kind of sleeping because of the neck (kittens very dissatisfied with the management's energy levels at present) since I got home and I've been semi aware of it all going on. It broke into my bedroom a little while ago and shows no signs of letting up. Must video whatever I can of one of these!

Will be getting a quote for netting in balcony...but I think it will be too much. Hmmmmmm......

@dlowan,
Good grief! There's some very serious pain buried in that breezy prose. Sure hope the nerve block helps.

@sozobe,
Hard to know how serious pain is!

We are all so different.

It's not serious like a lot I see the results of via work....but its a pain in the neck ok!

They'll get over it, for they are obviously acting out the the ancient cat aphorism: "To break down is human, persistence feline."

@msolga,
Well, with the injected anesthetic happening Thursday, hopefully I will for a couple of days at least! That's a test to see if a more intensive intervention is likely to help.

@dlowan,
Very glad to hear you're fine, Deb.
But really wish such such knock-out drugs were not necessary.
Though I do understand about the constant pain, absolutely.

Hoping for a really pleasant pain-free time for you tonight.
Have fun with the woollies when you get home. Smile
