@sozobe,
I live vicariously through her, catwise.

Thanks for the interest and the the e-mail. You're a good kid.

I was thinking about dogs last night. What would I do when I'm back in the hospital yet again? Only one of many problems with having a dog. I goil can dream.

Edit: I wouldn't be surprised if my having cats all those years contributed mightily to my asthma problems. Who knew?

@mags314772,
Babies fine....mummy buggered. I was so tired last night I left my hearing aid on my bedside table.....went to put it on this morning...just a battery! I was terrified they'd eaten it, but it was ok.

Sebastian needs several minutes of cuddles when I get home...if he doesn't get it he gets frantic. He's worked out a modus operandi for when I get home....which is to jump up on the kitchen bench as I am putting the mail down and grab me.

Thing is, often that bench is full of stuff that I haven't tidied away as yet, so he just wades through everything, knocking things down and trampling them as he goes.

The image that came to mind yesterday was of Godzilla trampling Tokyo.

@dlowan,
The tall lotus cat tower arrives today!

I was going to pick up from depot, but discovered it's 51 kg, which I'm not going to be able to get in and out of car, up the ramp from carpark, through lobby, into lift, and down long corridor.

So it's being delivered.

Little buggers better like it is all I can say!

@dlowan,
Bet they'll looooooooove the box it comes in, and ignore it.

(There, hopefully I've reverse-jinxed it for you.)

@dlowan,
The Eagle Has Landed.

By which I mean the Lotus cat tower package has arrived.

Frankly, it scares me....I am SO over putting furniture together. And this is USian and all. It likely has Imperial measure demands and my tools won't fit.

Cats liking walking on the box.

@dlowan,
Go your camera ready, Deb?

This is going to be exciting! Smile
(after you've put the thing together, of course.
Good luck!)

I was showing up in the hope of getting a tower report. Not yet, huh. I can wait.

How about now?

@Roberta,
Haven't begun with the tower!

I was hearing the oddest little creaking noise behind me....couldn't figure out what it was...turned round and Viola was on the sofa creaking at me!

Reduced her to hopeless squirming ecstasy, and louder chirps, by saying "what!" to her repeatedly.

Catz iz odd.

@dlowan,
Bunny querida, I don't mean to be pushy, but GET THE DAMNED TOWER UP ALREADY. I wanna hear how the woollies react to it. That would be a great distraction from the shopping bag.

@dlowan,
Ok...work has commenced on cat tower.

After 3 layers of cardboard box, I have removed the first polystyrene foam protective layer.

At this rate, the thing itself will be the size of a Lilliputian music box.

Cats greatly engaged with process, to the extent that I don't think they'll need a walk tonight for life enrichment purposes.

@msolga,
It's up.

Despite the help of the woollies, especially sebastian, I must say. He appears to be very attracted to construction work.

I'm exhausted, I smell like a goat and was sweating like whatever sweats a lot.

It's so big I'll have to figure out where to put it.

Sebastian, as usual, has explored. Viola says she likes the old one.

We have collapsed in an exhausted heap, except for Sebastian who wants to have a love in.....and a chew in, because that's what he does.

I had plans to do a lot more than this today......but started late because I was lazy and read in bed.

I'll see if I can gather the energy to at least clean my bedroom and get the rubbish out of here.

I'm a bit nervous....there are some important looking doover hickies left over.

Oh, I sent the lovely Soz some pics.

I'm being given an iPhone four on Saturday so I'll have a better camera.

But as long as the structure stays in one stable bit, what do the left over doover hickies matter? Don't worry.

The main thing is that the woollies actually enjoy it & get lots of exercise & adventure from the experience! Smile

Any reports on that front yet?

@msolga,
We are all resting on my bed at present. I imagine there'll be exploration when I go out to the living area....or start tidying and vacuuming in here, whichever is first.
